It depends!. If she's continuing to take more acid, then she could be on a very long tweek, which of course is frying brain cells and might create some longer term problems!. The issue is whether she inherited the schizophrenic genes!. If anyone in her family has schizophrenia, bipolar, or major recurring depression, the odds are way higher than average that she may have!. In that case, it is possible for an acid trip to trigger schiz!. You are too far away to do anything other than recommend that her family corral her up and take her to the psych ward!. In the state you describe, she meets the MQs for involuntary commitment - delusional, potential threat to self or others!. She needs to get off the high and evaluated!.

PS re: Commitment
*Any medical professional will consider eating that much acid as a threat to self, which is enough!.
* Anyone who thinks s/he is god can turn wrathful in a blink, again enough!.
* Those states of mind are more than enough to get anyone with a mental illness tossed into the lock ward without much thought!.

If your friend has depression, she most likely is self-medicating and needs proper care!.

A lot of ppl trip on acid w/o problems!. It sounds like your friend has problems!. If it was me, I'd talk to her mom about making some tough decisions that might help her in the long run!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Why would anyone want to call a drug trip schizophrenia!. It is an insult to those who have done no wrong yet suffer from this condition!. It's called drug induced psychosis which is different!. What you can do is to learn from your firends mistake and never do drugs!. Anyway friendships can be unconditional so you may still want to be there for your friend regardless of what mistakes they make in life!. I'm sure you are friends with them for a reason and yuo don't want to be a fair weather friend!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I think she's pretty much hopeless to be honest!. People like that usually end up killing themselves!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

She needs help!. If she is underage her parents can have her committed for a psych evaluation or Court ordered to a drug rehab!. They have to go to there county court house to get the process started!.
Honestly shes not going to lay off the drugs until she recognizes drugs as a problem!. Some people take longer to recognize the problem than others!. Some don't recognize the problem at all until its to late!. It will help to get her stable for a little while!. Maybe she will recognize after she gets a clear head!. Some drugs leave permanent brain damage!. It affects everyone differently!. There is always damage!. If she is over 18 she can still be forced to get evaluated or rehab!. First her family has to prove she is a danger to herself or to someone else!. Good luck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

acid can unlock parts in peoples brains that can never be fixed, this is very rare, but it happens and most of the time the people will have to be confined to mental institutions, its really sad!.!.!.it really is a freak occurrence though because millions of people have done acid and they are fine, it really is a small percentage of users!. she may never come down, lsd stays in your spinal column and remains there your whole life, so it is possible it will continually be in her system and she may never come down!. im really sorry to hear about this!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
