Well, stammering and stuttering can be symptoms of shyness!. Its the want to say the right thing, but not being sure that you are saying the right thing!. Your mind is trying to formulate the words just right; but the mouth isn't waiting for the brain to do it!.

But since the brain hasn't come up with the words, the mouth has nothing to say except what the brain originally thought!. So it comes out as stammering and stuttering!.

So the idea is to ease the shyness!. To deal with my shyness, I learned to handle conversations this way!. In conversations when I talk to more than one person, I ignore everyone except who I am talking to!. I speak loud enough for everyone to hear, but I only focus on the one person I am speaking to!.

One person isn't intimidating, its the crowd that is!. So if you are giving a speech to a crowd, find one person in each section and focus only on that one person when you look at that section!. If you are having a conversation in a group of people, ignore everyone except who you are talking to!.

If someone else tries to get your attention, refocus entirely on them; ignoring the person you were talking to and the rest of the crowd!. Keep your focus to only one person!.

This should help greatly with the shyness, and the stuttering and stammering should drop away or at least greatly lessen of its own accord!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I think it could be overcome by constant practice by means of of reading out loud, singing songs, memorizing lines from poetry or just engage in conversation!.!.if it is a baby or a kid, maybe it would help talking to the baby all the time, using the question and answer, not the yes or no type but open ended questions!. Hope this help!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
