Question: How can i overcome my negative thoughts and develop positive thinking!?
how can i be positive, when i first think of something, i think negative first!. why!? how can i overcome my negative thoughts and develop positive thinking!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

What you need to do is identify your negative thoughts, write them down and challenge them to see a more rational approach!.

A good way to do this is to get a little workbook and on each page set out 4 columns!.

-The Event- Describe the situation as you saw it and how it made you feel
-Thoughts- Write the negative thoughts that came into your mind during and after this event
- The event as it actually occurred!. (i'll explain this in more detail later)
-Challenges- in this column you need to analyse your responses to the actual incident and challenge your negative thoughts and beliefs

An example is the best way to explain!.

Event- My friend was meant to pick me up at 7!.30 but didnt tur n up until 8 hurredly apologised!. Was distant and quiet with me all evening and refused to hang out at mine afterwards, instead drove off home saying she was busy!.

Negative thoughts- my friend doesnt like me!. No one likes me!. This always happens!. It's because im ugly/stupid/boring that they were late and didnt want to talk to me!. I bet they never hang out with me again!.

The actual event- Friend arrived at 7!.48, apologised for being so late but said theyd just had an argument with her boyfriend and was delayed by breaking up with him!. She complimented my outfit and said she was looking forward to seeing the film with me!. Was a bit quieter than usual during the evening and seemed to be worried about something!.

-challenges- my friend wasnt that late, and she did apologise giving a reasonable explanation!. If she didnt like me she wouldnt have invited me to go to the cinema with her in the first place!. She said she liked my outfit so she doesnt think i'm ugly!. I cannot mind read other people so i cannot tell whether they like me or not!. My friend has called me today asking if she can come over for a girly movie night to which i agreed so she must like me!.

think up some positive sayings for yourself
and every day say them to your self when ever you remember!.
When ever you catch yourself saying something negative just say the reverse and repeat it several times if you want!.

Maybe even write these positive sayings on card or paper and put them up around your room or house, on the fridge, in the bathroom
whenever you see them!. say it in your head!.

It can take a long time to get over negative thinking, in fact it may never go away so the best you can do is try to outweigh it with positive thinkingWww@Answer-Health@Com

If I was stuck in a negative rut like this, and could not shake it off, I would know that I had to muster up some courage and face my fears, whatever they turned out to be!. I would recommend counseling AND some healing sessions with a clairvoyant healer, (someone certified/licensed with references)!. This way, whatever in your subconscious that is creating the negativity can come to the surface of your awareness for you to consciously work out, and the clairvoyant healer can also 'see' what the root problem is and help you 'clear it out of your space'!. The latter will work only if you are ready to accept and let go of what the hang up is, so intuitive counseling (licensed professional) comes first, then the healer!. Ok!? Best of luck,

first think of a happy incident that happened in your life that you planned out!.eg!.a successful project!.remember that incident and remind yourself that you have the ability to do it!.negative is always negative,that's why it got the name "negative"!.some people just have a natural tendency of thinking opposite!.it's just a slight problem!.when you think of something,just try to block out all the bad thoughts!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I don't know if you believe in God or not!. If you
do believe, He has something to tell us about it!. If you don't, I don't know what you need to do!.

Being negative stems from worry!. Listen to what God said about worrying:

Matthew 6:25-27 "Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about you body, what you will wear!. Is not life more important than food, and the body more important than clothes!? Look at the birds of the air, they do not sow or reap or store away in barn, and yet our heavenly Father feeds them!. Are you not much more valuable than they!? Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life!?"

We can't help what enters our minds, but we can help by not dwelling on it!. Think of something positive another topic that you can be positive about!.

How can you develop positive thinking!? Just ask God to help you and know that he will!. We are his children and he wants us to be happy and he wants to help us in every situation!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Get up Early in the morning, see the rising sun!. It is the biggest source of positive energy!. When you are watching it, think that you are going to be happy throughtout the day and you are going to make at least one soul happy that day!.

When you start thinking negatively, think of all the good things you have in your life!.
Its usually a habit negative thoughts, so you have to practice thinking good outcomes in situations!.
