Question: What can you do to stop thinking all the time too much!?

Breathing helps!. Concentrate on long, deep breaths!. Not hyperventilating, rather take long slow breaths!. Fill your body with healing oxygen and then release the CO2 away from you!.

Exercising helps, walks help, sometimes having a drink helps, too!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Me too! I'm so envious of my husband!.!.!.he has that ability to compartmentalize things!.!.!.but I'm a worrywart!. The one thing that has worked for me is to take that line from "Gone With the Wind"!.!.!.Scarlett O'Hara says, "I won't worry about that now, I'll worry about it tomorrow!" and then goes singing happily on her way!. If I give myself permission to worry about it and even set a time to worry about it, just not right now, it helps me more than trying to talk myself out of worrying!. And about 1/3 of the time, by the time tomorrow comes around I don't need to worry about it anymore! Have you read the series of books "The Highly Sensitive Person"!? There are a few of them!.!.!.they are great!. Taking a minute or two to close your eyes and breathe deep into the abdomen is also a big help in clearing the mind!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You sound just like me, are you an aquarian!? not that that matters really!. I guess you are looking for the answers to things and maybe trying to make sense of this insane world!? There are some good books out there and apparently one about people who think too much!.!.!.!. I must read it sometime :)
