AM i crazy?? mature people only plz! best answer gets 10 points!!?!

Question: AM i crazy!?!? mature people only plz! best answer gets 10 points!!!?
Since 5th grade (I am in 11th grade now) I have had a very powerful imagination but the problem is it has become almost uncontrollable!. Since the 10th grade i have been unconsciously falling into deep & powerful day dreams that my body would (unawaringly to me) twitch or suddenly move in response to the stimulation in my head!. My imagination had me dreaming all types of different worlds & creating storylines!. The pro of this was evident in my school work; i was able to come up with intelligent answers & construct captivating essays!. Kids in my class have noticed the blank look on my face during lessons & the unusual body jerking!. Resulting in me being watched by a number of wary kids during classes & others calling me a "freak" behind my back!. Can some1 please tell me whats wrong with me or direct me to a forum that specializes in disorders!? I'm left handed, good at drawing & love trance music as i find it euphoric!. This fantasy world iv create is addictive!. What is this disorder!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Its not a mental disorder its mostly a way to escape reality in your mind!.!.!.!.Let me tell you !.!.your mind is a very powerful organ !.!.!.Getting use to daydreaming and allowing yourself to do it since a young age it could just mature!.!.!.Things you may daydream about when you are little may not help for you anymore so your mind thinks of other things you could be attracted to!.!.!.You could just even be really bored and because your mind is so imaginative it gets a little over powering !.!.!.Ive heard that lefthanded people are more imaginative than those right handed!.!.!.I am not sure if this is true but do some research try on the internet !.!.!.books!.!.!.things like that!.!.!.!.if you feel it gets out of hand than you should definetly see a specialist !.!.!.which would end up being a psychiatrist or phychologist !.!.!.plus trance music rocks !.!.!.lolWww@Answer-Health@Com

You should be a writer!. I don't think you have a disorder, but you need to try to control your attention in public situations!. Once you have a leash on this power, you can do a lot of things with it!. I don't think a school counselor would take you very seriously though!. Only someone who has had this happen to them could really understand!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It sounds like you have a form of narcolepsy!. People with this disorder often have vivid dreams or visions but are still technically aware!. My sister has this disorder but hers is more severe as to where she goes into a deep sleep and is not aware of her surroundings!. You should go see a doctor!. They also have sleep studies that you can get paid for but I believe you have to be 18!. Good luckWww@Answer-Health@Com

I don't even know what euphoric means!. You may just be really smart!. Maybe you should check with the doctors just to be safe!. I mean you don't want to go your whole life thinking this and then never go when really there is something up the whole time!. Your not a freak though, don't listen to other people!. Thats just pure disrespect!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You may be suffering from some kind of Dissociative disorder or even a mild case of depersonalization disorder!. Or some kind of neurological disorder, judging by your falling into the deep day dreams!. I don't really know as I am not a doctor, nor do your symptoms fit with any mental disorder in total!.

There may not be anything wrong, you may just be a person that is very creative!. However since it appears to be troubling you so much, causing you difficulties in school, and feel that you are addicted to your fantasy world; it is probably a good idea to see your doctor about it!.

He/she can refer you to a psychiatrist and/or neurologist for further evaluation!. Your symptoms don't seem to fit into any one disorder and as such may be an indicator of mild symptoms of different disorders!. You may have a sleeping disorder as well!.

I have included links in source on dissaciative disorder, sleep disorders and depersonalizatin!. However like I stated before, your symptoms don't necessarily match other than one or two!. However you may be able to determine more by checking out these links!.

I highly recommend that you speak to your school counselor about this and/or see your doctor if it continues to be so troublesome for you!. An evaluation by a psychiatrist, therapist or neurologist may help you identify what exactly is going on and ways that you can control it better!. There may be treatment available to help you as well!.

Good luck and I hope this helps!

First off, see a doctor -- start with a pediatrician, perhaps a neurologist might help!.

The relevant questions that come with this are: How long do the episodes last!? Are you confused afterwards!? Are you getting enough sleep at night!? The most obvious solution (which may or may not be true) is that you are an imaginative person who is sleep deprived!. Many people twitch as they fall asleep (hypnagogic jerk)!.

If this is happening at weird times/ you are well rested and this still happens it could be a sleep disorder (narcolepsy comes to mind), but it would come with several other symptoms!. There are other and rarer syndromes out there, which I would find highly unlikely!.

In essence, try to get some regular sleep and see if it still happens, if so, talk to your doctor/ get an appointment with a neurologist!. It very well could be normal, but if not you might want to get treatment!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

it's called being a teenager!.

I think most teenagers fantize to the point where it takes over their lifes!.

dont worry, i have this too- i think, like im always thinking of things, but not real things (if that makes any sense) (and im in 11th grade aswell)

maybe you have borderline adhd!?
if you''re very worried go ask a therapist, or your school conselor!.
