How do I get rid of depression?!


Question: How do I get rid of depression!?
I don't want to use medication, I've already tried talking to someone, I've tried thinking of something positive, and I've tried listening to calming music!.

I've also tried crying, which doesn't work because I just feel like breaking out crying about 20 minutes later!.

I've had depression for our years, and I recently went on meds as I was so exhausted and fatigued from battling with it (I also have an eating disorder so it was doubly difficult) but my psych!. said if she'd had the facilities she would have liked to have hospitalized me briefly before trying the Prozac, just so I could have a few days or weeks on my own, without outside complications and interruptions, just to think and sort things out in my head!. I just thought I'd let you know that I researched it after she said it and there are lots of facilities arund Britain and Ireland (where I'm from - but I'm sure there are places everywhere, I also came across places in Korea, Malawi, Europe, and the US) where you can go to sort yourself our for as long as you want!.
I really do empathise with you!.!.!. I know how it feels, my depression has been getting steadily worse lately!. I hope you find a solution and that you can overcome your depression :)Www@Answer-Health@Com

You have to understand that your depression did not happen over night so it is not going to be resolved over night either, you need to give yourself some time!. How long did you try these things!? one or two days will only upset you, and you may not want to but if it gets bad enough you might have to use medication for a short time!.
Change your daily routine, don't go to the normal places, for example:if you go to the movies on Friday then go to dinner somewhere you have never been before!. Oh and the most important thing to do and it will work every time if your heart is right!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.PRAYERWww@Answer-Health@Com

The easiest way to get rid of depression is to jog! You simply can not be depressed when jogging!. If there is a particular thing bothering you, sit down and write it down on paper!. Sometimes you can figure out what to do by simply reading what you have wrote!. If you are a female, you are probably just reacting to hormones and a dr!. may be able to give you a RX to help you with that!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

When you doubt your self-worth, it's devastating to you, but not understood by others!. So, you will have to address what makes you sad or depressed!. Everyone has a purpose; everyone is important!. The solution will not come to your door without you making an effort to direct your efforts to involve yourself in something that you are able to see as productive!. Not knowing your age or your circumstances, life experiences, advice is hard to give!. One morning, you may very well wake up and say "this is enough", and find an answer!. Clinical Depression is when all the good brain chemicals shut down!. It is like someone turned off the faucet!. The endorphins, the dopamine, stop running!. All you feel is pain!.!.!.soreness!.!.!.hurt!.!.!.tiredness, fatique!. You lack energy, lack zest!. You can't even walk around the block!. All you do is sleep and nap every chance you get!.
You lose your sexual appetite!.
The opposite of depression is!.!.!.drumroll please!.!.!.!.STIMULATION!. Whatever stimulates you, do it!. Get it!. Buy it!. Eat it!. Drink it!.
Stimulate your depression away!.

All these answers sound good, but if you really understand depression, it is a chemical in the brain, that generally, NEEDS that certain chemical to counteract the effects you are having, which means, you need medication!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.maybe just for awhile, it does not mean forever!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.and talking to a psychologist really does help you get passed these feelings, it works!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.trying to get around it will only prolong what you are going through!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.

i know how yu feel!. i was there and was accually thinking of suicide, but that is NOT the answer!. i tried doing things i loved!. like do something yu like, maybe art, singing or sports!. or takeing yur friends with yu and teach them the hobbie yu like!. it will be funn!. even try something new like a new sport or new hobby!. maybe rock climbing, thats relaxing!. i hope everyhting woks outt =]]Www@Answer-Health@Com

Just hang out with friends!. Go outside pull up and sit there and relax while the wind rushes to your face!.

See a therapist! Worked wonders for me! Someone that is non-biased that will listen and help you!
