Should i go to a PUBLIC or PRIVATE school next year?!
Question: Should i go to a PUBLIC or PRIVATE school next year!?
I currently attend a fantastic private girls school, and I don't like it there!. The work is much too hard, they push their young students very hard, we have too many classes a day which means more homework and less time to finish work! My friends go to co-educational public high schools and have no problem at all!. They said the work is at their level, they enjoy being with boys and girls and they're having a great time! I'm not, which is bad and my parents are working so hard to earn $16,000 a year to send me to a great public school!. We've discussed moving, but to my sisters school which is private, co-ed and $20,000 a year! Sure its gonna be expensive, but would it be better!? I cant decide whether to move to Public [where i'd enjoy it much betterr] or Private [My sisters school which is where the people i dont like go, its extra sporty which i dont really like and its really challenging]!. I am definitely going to co-ed, but PUBLIC OR PRIVATE!? please help me!!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

if you can successfully graduate from a private school your whole future will be brighter!. You will get into a better college - or, better yet, a better university, and you will be more prepared to meet the challenges of successfully graduating!.
school and popularity are the same in public school as they are in private school!. i dropped out of private school and my life would have been completely different if i had stayed!. kids suck wherever you are, please don't let that sway you, you can make friends outside of school and you have your whole life ahead of you to make friends!. being popular ends after high school, then real life sets in!.
the easy schoolwork won't help your future, the ego boost is cool for a minute, when you realize how much smarter and farther along you are than the rest of the public school kids, but again, that's only for a minute!. then your brain goes soft, your level of standards goes down, and before you know it, you may even give up on college because so few of your friends are going!.
i promise you, 15 years from now you will be so grateful for having had the opportunity to go to private school and move on to a better college/university, and then having a great salary once you've entered the job market!.
now, just cause i screwed up my life doesn't mean you'll screw up yours, but if i could go back in time i would have stayed and put up with the crap at private school, cause it ain't no different than public!. it's just different crap!.
stay with the snobs, you have the rest of your life to slum it with the masses!. but it is a different world!.
don't think i'm trying to guilt you, but in the future you will be so grateful for the opportunity and the sacrifices your parents made to supply you with a private school education!. they want the best for you, and someday, if you stay in private school, you will realize how much they have given you!.
please consider staying at private school, look to your future and not just the next couple of years!. your whole future will be affected by what you do now, don't sacrifice it for the 'grass is always greener' syndrome!.

Private school you will be happy you did in the long run, I went to public my whole life and I am suffering the consequences now that I am in college, public school did not prepare me for college whatsoeverWww@Answer-Health@Com
I go to a private school!. I used to go to a public school!. I would choose private over public any day but thats just my opinion!.

i'v been to both and i can honestly say that the kids there are a lot nicer and if you really want to learn and don't muck around too much you will still get a great educationWww@Answer-Health@Com

i dont know, i think it has in part somethign to do with your area and the schools!.!.!. i would have hated to attend a private school
public schools are more laid back and let you be more of an individual i think
the private schools we have here, a lot of the kids were stuck up and they really didnt learn as well as claimed!.!.!.!. seeing how nearly every student that transfered from them that i knew struggled to keep up with what all the other students were doing

What are your priorities, success or convenience!? The reason that the private school is so much harder is because it is requiring much more out of you academically!. Public schools on average are woefully deficient in the education that they provide!. If you want to be competetive in the world of tommorow you will need as many tools as are available to you!. Also the idea behind the girls school is to reduce the distractions that boys will cause to your education!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
