Question: People with OCD, doesn't it piss you off when!.!.!.!?
people who don't have the disorder or are ignorant of it's symptoms assume we ALL "wash" our hands repeatedly, or "check door locks" or "arrange things" or whatever!? Symptoms of OCD vary widely between people!. If it's not too personal, in order to educate these ignorant people, what is one of your weird symptoms, or a common one you know of!?

if i get emotionally upset i can only say NOW JUST A MINUTE I'M NOT READY, people around me say were not going anywhere and i go back to J!.A!.M!.I!.N!.READY CHANT OVER AND OVER AGAIN!. if i get financially stressed i take out all food cans and put them back and take them out put them back!. i cant hold a relationship down because nobody sees these things has my own soothing tool they see it as a choice, it is necessary!. there is no universal soothing tool every human is different so of coarse our repetitive behaviors that have gone overboard are going to be different!. these people who want to put us all in one little category have never en en bothered to see the reason behind the repetive motions we may be in at the timeWww@Answer-Health@Com
My fiancee has OCD so I am getting really really familar with it!. He has to tell me he loves me so many times day!. I don't mind that, its great to be loved so much!. another one is that even if his underwear was clean, after we make love he has to put on a clean pair!. even though he always washes up after!. I'm sure he does other things but I can't think of them now!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
i always feel like i didnt lock the door or i always check 3 or 5 times to see if i have my keys when i leave the house!.!. my kitchen has to be very clean or i will freak out!. when my husband spills things it bothers me if he doesnt wipe it up properly!.!.!. kind of silly huh!.!.!.!. my daughter tells her friends tay i have OCD lolWww@Answer-Health@Com
Even though I've never been diagnosed with OCD, I think I may have it (although it's not disabling)!. I constantly count things for no reason, and worry about my son getting sick because either I or another caregiver (his dad, grandma, etc!.) didn't wash their hands or clean him up properly!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
omg i hate that, I obsess over washing my hands and none of my food can touch another!. I also eat everything with a fork or a spoon, i never eat with my hands!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
