Question: Is this fair!?!?!?!? please read it's short!!?
My friend and I both cut ourselves!. I cut a lot more than her though!. and she made me tell my mom, so i'm now receiving help for it!. however she never told her mom and i think it's only fair that if i had to say something so does she!. right!? it's too important!. she stopped cutting after a while!. but didn't tell her mom!. i still feel it's very important her mother knows but i can't tell her mom for her, her mom is hard to reach!. even though she stopped!.!.!. shouldn't she tell her mom!? is this unfair of her or am i selfish!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

She is her mom, she has the right to know what her daughter does!. Even though she has stopped, her mom should know about it , so she can make it sure that it doesnt repeat in the near future !.

Selfish and lazy pardon my honesty!.If you really wanted to tell her mother you would have done it whether she is hard to reach or not!.You feel like you would betray your friend if you told her mother!.Tell her mother!.Cutting is just a consequence of her inability to face her problems in life and she must have great problems if she is cutting herself!.She can start again if the stress becomes too great!.
It will be easier to tell her mother if you think of it as doing it for her own good!.She will be grateful for it in the end!.It will help her talk about her thoughts and feelings and release her pain!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

If you're not worried about her safety anymore then she shouldn't 'have to' tell her mom just because you did!.
If you're still seriously worried about her, and she doesn't want to tell her mom, maybe there's other resources ie!. support groups etc!. who could help!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

i dont really know!. if my parents had ever found out i cut, i would have only done it worse!. it was my friends that finally got me to stop!. i think you should just talk to her about it and see what's best!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
