i will never take pills for depression

i feel miserable and hopeless everyday!. i think there are so many things that anger or sadden me that i trying to solve each at a time is hopeless!.

i hate when people say just get over it because they just kinda dismiss anything you feel is a real issue!. i have a therapist that just basically agrees and repeats everything i say and she doesnt help!. i dont even know what kinda help i want!.

im probably not gonna off myself but i wouldnt feel too bad about dying!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Meditation technique

Most of our problems stem from the mind!.
Situations are what they are, but our mind puts a whole new spin on it, often for the worse!.
This leads to a lot of the pain we feel, and being consumed by the pain we act from it, hurting those we care about!.
This is true for all people in all positions of life,except babies!.

So rather than be controlled by the mind, we should learn to control it!.
It is hard to directly do so rather we can control its most obvious manifestation, the breath!.
You'll note that when you are very concentrated you won't breath as much, or when angry shallow and rapidly!.
How to control the breath!.
Inhale and as you do pay attention to the column of air entering your right nostril(air enters both sides, but focus on the right side for now)!.
Exhale and feel the column exit on the left side(air exits both sides, but pay attention to the left)!.
Inhale through the left nostril, exhale through the right(same as previous steps)!.
Inhale and feel the air in both nostrils rise to the top of your nose like an inverted 'V', then force it all out in one breath!.
This counts as one cycle!.
You can go up to 100 in a day, and make a game of this!.
If you lose track of the count restart!.
As you get better you'll notice your breathing slowing down!.
Once you slow down enough, the mind slows down, to the point you can feel a space between thoughts!.
As you advance further you'll learn to identify yourself with that peace, not your painful past nor the vices you had!.

It's perfectly understandable that you wouldn't want to take medication, so there are always other solutions!. Never get pressured into doing something you don't want to!.

I think you need to get a new therapist!. If she isn't helping you at all, and you don't feel you're making progress, then she obviously isn't doing her job right!. The right therapist can work wonders for you, so don't give up just yet :)

The one main thing I can say to you is, just don't give up, no matter how bad things seem, they ALWAYS get better even if it takes a bit of patience!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I am sorry to hear that your therapist isnt helping you!. Has she given you other alternatives beside medication!? John depression can be the result of a chemical imbalance and therefore require the use of medications!. If you are dead set against using coventional drugs, would you mind using herbal remedies!? Seek a naturalist in your area!. Maybe they can be of some assistance in sharing herbal or unconventional techniques of dealing with depression!. I know that Eastern medicine also has various ways of treating depression!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

There are many therapists out there, good and bad ones!. You have a bad one and you need to find a better one!. It may take more than two tries but keep trying untill you find the right one!.

You shouldn't put down medication like that!. I know what you are thinking, it's the same reasons why a lot of people don't start on these meds!. But many people perceive mental medication in a negative way!. I'm not going to argue about this, just please considerate as an alternative, or the remaining fighting efforts!. At least talk to your a therapist about meds and ask other people about their experiences (pros and cons)!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

i had the same problem as you do now!.i rwaly must tell you that i 've taken pills that my psychiatrist subscribe me and it realy helpped me to get better !.i realy want to help you and i advice you to find better therapist and try to think more positive LIVE IS GREAT YOU DON'T WANNA MISS THAT!.talk talk talk!talk with your friends ,with your family about how you feel i know that this is just one bad episode of your live many of us has had it but there is a way good luckWww@Answer-Health@Com

There is nothing wrong with asking for help, espeically if you are feeling like that on a daily basis!. Don't wait until you hit rock bottom one day to ask for help!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
