Will my Doctor increase my 20mg Adderall XR to 30mg because the 20s just do not !

Question: Will my Doctor increase my 20mg Adderall XR to 30mg because the 20s just do not work for me!!?
I am also prescribed 10mg immediate release Adderall to take when the 20mgs start to wear off but those don't even work! Do you think she would increase it to 30 if I explain everything!!? Should I stop taking my zoloft 50mg!. to see if this is the cause for Adderall being not effective anymore! Even with 40mgs of XR I still get tired during the day and I thought Adderall was a strong stimulant!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
Adderall is quite strong stimulant!. I started taking it when I was about 7 or 8 and I've been on it for about 7!.5 years now!. As I became more tolerant to the effects my doctor slowly raised the dosage and I'm at a 30mg capsule right now!. I'd suggest talking to your doctor and ask if your other medicines are the cause of the Adderall's effect being cancelled out!. If they are not the cause talk to him and tell him of any problems you do have with the 20mg ones!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You have probably developed a tolerance, and may require a different medication, but I wouldn't stop the Zoloft, until at least 18 mths - 2 yrs of usage, then wean off, and see how you feel!. Take 4 Omega 3 fish oil supplements, daily: (certified free of mercury) it is best if consumed with an antioxidant, such as an orange, or grapefruit, or their FRESHLY SQUEEZED juice!. If vitamin E is added, it should be certified as being 100% from natural sources, or it may be synthetic: avoid it!. Omega 3 is safe, combined with medications!. Try having 2 - 4 cups of green tea, daily!. As with all herbal/green teas, use lemon/lime, and/or a little sweetener (NOT ARTIFICIAL!!!) but no cream, or milk!.

Xylitol, or Stevia is preferable, (health food stores) or fruit sugar (fructose, such as "Fruisana", from supermarket sugar aisles) or even a little honey, because these will reduce "sugar spikes", which later deplete you of energy!. Minimise/eliminate consumption of highly processed foods, particularly grain products, such as white bread, donuts, cake, cookies/biscuits, or anything with sugar!. Opt for more wholefoods, non-starchy vegetables, and fruit!. Eat healthily, in accordance with your "nutritional type" as determined at http://www!.mercola!.com/ SEARCHBAR!.

Are you an addict!? or do you really have ADHD!? Because I know many people who are addicted and it really messes people up!. You can gain tolerance to it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

don't monkey with your meds by yourself!!!! talk to your doc about adjusting your dose or changing meds all together!. I had some real bad issues with zoloft so I hate that stuff!. best to you!Www@Answer-Health@Com
