I've been on 50mg of seroquel for a while now, for impulse control, I'm a little crazy =) , but it is also used to treat insomnia!. It is used for several things, such as treating insomnia, psychosis, impulsivity, mood imbalances, and sometimes depression!. It is normal that you are having strange dreams!. When you begin the medicine, it is usually strong in your body!. Since you usually take it right before bed, it has an effect on your dreams!. If your dreams are strange and relativly normal, then enjoy them, but if you have disturbing dreams, see your doctor!. There are other medicines that might work better with you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
If the dreams are bothersome or get to be nightmarish, tell the doctor who prescribed you seroquel!. It's normal when starting a drug like that to have odd dreams, but if you feel like it's not working for you and you don't like the side effects there are lots of alternatives!Www@Answer-Health@Com
a friend of mine told me to never take that stuff because it made her feel like a zombie in real life!.

Wow!.!.!.Seroquel for insomnia!.!.!.that's a new one!. I'm currently taking 300mg of seroquel and it does NOTHING for me!.!.!.except maybe give me crazy dreams!.!.!.and I've had zombie dreams too!. One where my sister shot herself in the head but didn't die!.!.!.she turned grayish-blue and started after me!. She eventually really died (in my dream) when she was hit by a train!. I had another zombie dream but I can't remember it!. Last night I dreamt that I was in a lego world and people were out to get me!.!.!.and the legos were flying and I was throwing food out for all the people to eat!. CRAZY!.
If the dreams dont' really bother you and the seroquel is helping I'd suggest you continue on it!.!.!.but if you are bothered by the dreams talk to your doctor!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
