Depressed over boyfriend's health?!

Question: Depressed over boyfriend's health!?
I have been with my boyfriend for two years, and love him very much!. This is not an issue of staying with him or not, but I do need advice!. He works at a job where he sits at a computer all day, and is on the computer as soon as he gets home!. He has consequently gotten very weak physically, is constantly sick, and has chronic back pain!. I am a Pilates instructor and have been trying my best to get him to do anything involving physical movement, but he is becoming less willing to do so!. Even walking around outside is sometimes too much of an effort for him!. Often, I will set aside time to work with him, and he will decline!. It pains me to see him this way!. Yesterday, he told me he couldn't hug me because he has a sharp pain in his right arm when he tries!. I was especially hurt because, though he complains about feeling weak, the fact that he can't hug his girlfriend doesn't seem to bother him that much!. I am getting really depressed, and need advice!. We're only 25!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Sounds like he's losing interest in you!. He may be exaggerating his pain as a way to get you off his back!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It sounds like he's addicted to that computer!. Maybe you could try to offer him a more structured evening!. When you both get home have dinner at the table!. when you finish eating before he can sit at the computer he has to go for a walk with you!. Get him to agree to this!. He may not be able to go far or do much at first so go easy on him!. Tell him this will give you both a chance to share a little "quality time"!. Tell him that walking through the door is the hardest part (it's true)!.
Good luck to you both!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
