Question: What do you do if you are so stressed that you can't sleep, eat, or think strait!?
I am really really stressed!. i need help like now so i need some answers!. i can't eat or sleep or think strait!. so plz i need them quick!. thx!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Try a hot bubble bath with candles in the bathroom!. Lavender scented candles would be best!. Read a book and spoil yourself!. Don't let yourself think about the stress!. When the stress tries to invade, tell it no!.

Allow yourself to slow down!. Don't think about tomorrow or yesterday!. All we have is this moment!. And in this moment, you can do one thing, not twenty!. Pick one thing to do and work on it!. When it's done you'll feel a sense of accomplishment!. Take a break and give yourself a little reward!. Then move on to the next thing!.

If the stress is more of a drama type stress, I can tell you that I've been living through massive drama for seven months!. I suppose I'm dealing with the stress by going through my second childhood!. I play in the mud, stare at ant hills (and sometimes throw a rock at them so I can watch them work desperately), drink Yoohoo, play in the rain, swing, try to do monkey bars (I'm a little too big), pick up rocks that look cool, etc!. People may wonder why you are doing the things you're doing, but it's innocent fun and eases stress while taking you back to a time when you didn't have the worries you do now!. I don't recommend this all the time!. You still need an outer adult to pay your bills!. But letting out the inner child is great fun!.

Another way to deal with drama, if you are religious, is to make a "God box!." Take a box, seal it up well, cut a slit in the top and when you have something that is really disturbing you that you can't handle, you can write it on a slip of paper and give it to God!. Once you have done that, have faith that God will help resolve the situation!. He has relieved you of the burden--or at least some of the burden--and you can get on with your life!. Months later you can open the box and laugh about situations that were so stressful earlier but mean nothing to you now!.

ETA: If you try everything offered here and none of them work, get to a doctor!. You may have an anxiety disorder!. Only a medical professional can diagnose that and they will have to speak with you directly!. ATM I am suddenly in your shoes!. I'm looking forward to my therapy appointment today because I need it and I'm afraid I'm developing another disorder due to constant bombardment of stress issues!. I have sedatives that I only take when things are extreme (like now)!. One big stress reliever for me is my companion animal--a dog named Zach!. He senses when something is wrong and offers comfort!. If you don't have an animal and get along with them, see if you can love on a friend's animal!. Usually if you get a diagnosis of an anxiety disorder or bipolar, you can get a prescription for a companion animal (go to the pound please) because they are so beneficial to people with disorders!. With a doctor's order, housing units aren't legally allowed to deny you your pet!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I talk to God!. I tell Him that I appreciate all He has done for me, but there are a few things we need to discuss!. Then I tell Him what's going on, how stressed out I am, etc!. I ask Him to please help me!.
I am a firm believer in "God helps those who help themselves", so after I pray, I determine what is stressing me!.
I examine whether I need to keep all of the stressors in my life!.
If they all need to stay---such as, bills, work, keeping the house up, etc!.----I ask myself which of the stressors could possibly be delegated!. If none, then I give myself a break---whether I have time for it or not----and a change!. If I've been inside a lot, I go outside!. If I've been doing a lot of paper work, I put the paper work aside and play the piano or the drums!. I have purposely taken up several different hobbies so I have plenty to choose from in a case like this, then I can turn, walk back to whatever I was doing before, but limit the time I spend on the stressful stuff!. I take breaks on a regular basis when I'm really stressed out!. The breaks are short, but just having them helps!.
And whenever you can, concentrate on something good!. Before I go to bed at night, even if it's only for two minutes, I will go out and inhale the scent of flowers, and look at the moon!. Anything to break up the blocks of stress inside you!.

Well as a student I've been through a load of stress myself!. May I ask what it is that is bothering you!? So then I could see what specific advices I could give to tackle the source of your problems!. If that is a sensitive question and you wouldn't feel comfortable answering my advice to you is to SLEEP!. When you sleep you give your body the time to rest and your mind a break too!. Sometimes that is all you need!. I believe that Time would eventually sweep the mess up!. Don't push yourself too hard or think too much about whatever it is that is bothering you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I agree!. I think you should take a step back from life if your stress is affecting you that much!. If you keep stressing you'll start to feel overwhelmed with life, and you might breakdown!. Then, things will get even worse!.

Go to the pool, go for a walk, listen to music, or try something you've never done before!. Do something fun and just take a break from whatever is stressing you out!. Maybe try calling a friend or family member and talking to them about your stress and feelings, even if you don't know what is stressing you out!. Sometimes you may need to just get some words off your chest!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

The best thing besides medication, is to go somewhere quiet if you can, clear your head and think of some place nice!. Some where you had a lot of fun!.
Go for a long walk if you can!.!.!.!.
For me I picture the ocean or the mountains!.!.!.!.!.I can see it in my head and hear the water!.!.!.!. (I love the ocean & the mountains)
It does help!.!.!.but I also try to clear my mind of everything and that's the hard part!.!.!.to try and completely blank out everything, but it can be done with a little practice!.

i know of a few ways to reduce stress here are some

1!. deal with ur past to have in the present

2!. don't check things like email all the time!. people use e-mail as a procrastination tool, people leave stressful tasks to pile up

3!. Rest!.in regular intervals
