I would'nt do either!. If your depressed don't resort to drugs, seriously, drugs have lots of side affects which can cause more problems in the end, the drugs don't actually help you not be depressed any more, they just make you numb and unaware of things, which is just ignoring it basically!.
If your feeling depressed you should go out and do something that mkes you happy, do things that YOU want to do!. I know you said something before in another question about how your "friends" treating you terriablly!. If its about that, then you need not worry! I'm here to help :]
What I suggest is for you to go find some NEW fun friends! Who make you happy, and who likeyou for YOU!. Sorry can't stress that enough!. Go shopping buy some new fabulous clothes! Make yourself feel better by doing things you enjoy and things that make you happy!

Try the Cymbalta!.!.!.!.it tends to agree nicely with the vast majority!.!.!. Cymbalta is a lot easier to get off of if you have to!. Effexor is one of the worst!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
It really depends on how your brain reacts to the meds!. FWIW, effexor effects 3 neuroreceptors in your brain, cymbalta only 2!.
