Panic attack....?!

Question: Panic attack!.!.!.!.!?
i had something a bit traumatic happen to me earlier today, under a lot of emotional stress due to my horrible father!. I was on the phone with him, he was screaming at me, it was just a bad situation!. I pulled over and parked and hung up!. My face went numb, my hands went numb and started twisting like I couldn't control them, and I started convulsing and felt as if I was going to throw up!. I also could not speak at all, I kept stuttering and choking!. Nothing like this has ever happened to me before, and it was really scary!! I called my mom and she she calmed me down a bit but it took about 30 minutes!. was this a panic attack!?!? any advice would be great, especially if you've experienced this before!Www@Answer-Health@Com

That definitely sounds like some of the symptoms of a panic attack that I have had in the past!. And I agree, it is a very scary situation to be in! From what I recall of that experience, the best thing to help was to try to stay calm, not talking or moving, focusing on my breathing and getting to a cool place (I remember I was lying on the bathroom floor)!. Basically what a panic attack is your brain triggering an "emergency response" in your body even thoughyour body does not really having an emergency to respond to!. Heavy doses of brain chemicals pump into your system and tell your body to do crazy things which cause racing heart, nausea, dizziness, tight/twisted hands, difficulty breathing, chest pain, upset stomach or just overwhelming senses of fear or loss of control!. The key is that panic attacked are sudden and caused mostly by extreme stress!. If you've had one, chances of having others in the future are increased but if you know how to control them, you should be ok!. If they become frequent, or just for better peace of mind, you can call your doctor and they can prescribe meds to take if you need them!. I hope this helps! I've been there and I understand how scary this can be!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Don't be too quick to blame your dad!. Most likely it was your cell phone, perhaps coupled with a nearby cell phone mast, power lines, or wi-fi!.

Your cell phone alone could have caused the anxiety attack!. But if you remember where you were driving at the time this attack occurred, I would definitely check to see if you were driving past a cell phone mast or near power lines - next time you drive in that direction!.

You can check for cell phone towers/antennas at least here:

sounds like an anexity attack!. One can only handle so much stress in their life!. Once you reach this breaking point your body is telling you that you need to slow down or change the things that are making you physically sick!. Sometimes medication is a temp fix to the solution until you can work the problems out!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

it may have been the important thing is you remember the things that calm you down so if you do end up like that again you are prepared!. Try to meditate and pin point the things that cause your stress, and let them be healed!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
