Question: Was in a car crash earlier - how can I get over the shock!?
Crashed into a stupid van this morning on the way to college who just pulled out in front of us!. He was totally in the wrong!. Because of the adrenaline I was shaking and my heart was racing all day - I thought I would be over the shock by now but I'm still shaky!. What can I do to calm down!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Have a relaxing bubble bath and an early night!. I know it must be really shocking, but the best thing to do is relax!. Try and have something to eat or maybe a cool glass of drink!.

Maybe play a game or something if you have a games console!? That will take your mind off it!. You need something that will divert your attention from the crash

Try and stay calm as much as you can before your exams, if necessary notify the invigilator that you had a car crash, they usually either give you extra time to complete your paper, or they write a note on your exam paper stating that you're ill!.

you should lay down on the couch and relax!. drink some hot cocoa or coffee maybe even eat some ice cream!. try watching a good movie or reading a book that usually relaxes me!. i remember when i had my wreck i was terrified andi too had an idiot pull out in front of me unfortunately i was speeding and lost control and hit a cement guard rail!. but point being for the rest of the night i just sat around relaxing in my pj's and not stressing out over anything!. It will go in its own good time !.!.!.you can talk it over with mates that helps but do things that will take your mind off it ,say a disco your exams tomorrow will help get you through the day keep doing deep breaths and hot cups of sweet tea

Sounds like me a couple of years ago- RIGHT before my psychology A-Level exams, I was in a car crash!. It was hard, but the only thing that will help you is time!.!.!.sorry, no other remedy for shock I'm afraid!.

u need to take it easy n just stay at home for a day or too
let urself relax n get over it fully
dont stress urself with other stuff coz it will make u feel worse
have a nice day at home n maybe watch a fave dvd or something just to relax n chill out

watch a drama or comedy or the best a dramedy and eat a bowl of ice cream with fruit, I do that after a fight and it takes off the adrenaline in about 30 min or beer!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

a hot bubble bath, a massage or some deep heat tiger balm on your ribs!. i seriously have adreneline problems too, if something happens, i shake for a few hours but i calm down!. good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Try playing minesweeper, that works for me!.!.!. The only other thing is anti-anxiety meds like Valium, but those are controlled substances so that's a no-go!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Get some Kalms tablets!. They're herbal tablets that help you relax and sleep better!. I take them before any exam to calm my nerves!. :o)Www@Answer-Health@Com
