Am I depressed or something..i don't know?!


Question: Am I depressed or something!.!.i don't know!?
I feel empty, my friends barely talk to me!.I always send them messages or call them but it's like they don't want to talk to me!.I'm so lonely!.I asked my mom for a dog or a cat she said no and I felt like I was going to die!.I cried alot!. I mean I just wanted pet for comfort!.I walk into a empty house everyday until my mom gets home!.my mom always has a attitude or she's cranky, I have a older brother but he works from 3-11 p!.m!.I go in chatrooms and talk to random guys and talk about nasty things with them just for some type of comfort it releases stress sometimes!.my mom doesn't even know!.it's like she doesn't care about my feelings or anything!.!.when I see her face it disgusts me,I love my mother but it's like she has no time for me its always work,work,work my father divorced her when I was three,so my father doesn't live with me!.im just so sad!.and I want a therapist but she says its too much work to go through to get one,I feel so alone!.what could be wrong with me!? Awe, I remember that feeling!. How old are you!? So many teenagers go through this and so did I!. You just need to put yourself out there no matter how hard it is!. Make an effort to talk to new people or even people you've noticed, but have never met!. You have nothing to lose !.!. if anything, you'll probably come off as friendly!. Are you shy!? I know reading books brings a lot of comfort to people who are going through a tough time and it's not as big a waste of time as chatting online to creepies on the internet!. No offense, but those men don't care about you!. Maybe go to chatrooms where you can actually have real conversations with cool people who share your interests!. You could try pursuading your mother into letting you have a pet once more !.!. maybe if she is convinced that you promise to take good care of it she'd let you!. If not, try volunteering at an animal hospital!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

If your mom won't help you which is sad, I recommend you call the local Health Dept!. and talk to one of their counselors who CAN put you in touch with some source of help so you can get these feelings addressed!. You need to also stay AWAY from those chat rooms!. You can fall prey to a sexual predator and be aware, most of the sites ARE nowadays being watched by Law Enforcement Authorities and being traced!. Please call the HD and ASAP!.

Why can't you tell a counselor at school!? Why can't you go to a neighbor/friend!. Do you go to church, go to one with a school friend!? There are many avenues for you to get free help and counseling!. I used to help teens at our church a long time a go!. Please make that call!.

I strongly suggest you go to see your GP and talk to him/her about how you feel and perhaps seeing a counsellor - I don't think a pet would change how you feel even though it might put a smile on your face for a few hours, a pet would require much attention, and care!.

Maybe you ought to find what interests you most and perhaps develop your hobby, films, dancing, music, books, any sport, etc - if your friends don't answer your texts or messages, they're not friends really are they!?

I am sorry you have to log onto chatting with blokes to make you feel better, why don't you start writing a diary online at http://www!.mydiary!.com/ and write in a few lines every day and share it with others who feel the same!. I am sure that you'll be more likely to find some real friends this way rather than chatting in chat rooms - join facebook, or msnlive!.com and find a community which might interests you in some posts!. Chat rooms are not really for making real friends they're just for idle chit-chat!. Good luck and I hope you'll feel better soon!. It sounds like you're a bit depressed but don't let it get to you too much, we all get a bit down sometimes!.
