Answers:
Yes this is normal!. Any significant change in our lives forces us to reflect and clean our emotional house-- so to speak!. It's okay to grieve the life you are leaving behind!. Grieving can look like a lot of sleeping, crying, journaling, anger, etc!. Then allow yourself to anticipate the changes and embrace them!. At first your life will feel like chaos in a new place!. Make sure to have a whole lot of "old" favorites around!. Keep in touch with old friends and place comfort items in your new space!. Care for your physical needs and sleep as much as you need to!. Take time to think things through with your heart!. Before long, you will be feeling a whole lot better and on track in your new place!. God's blessings to you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I can relate to that!. In the summer before 8th grade, we moved from CA to WA!. On the drive up here the further north we got, the more the skies became dark and cloudy!. I was so depressed that I was crying secretly!. I just felt a sense of doom and like I had been yanked away from my home!. I think it's a normal reaction, probably more so for me because it wasn't my decision!. It helps to have positive self-talk, and visualize all the good times you'll have in the new town!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yes it's normal!. I moved half way across country a few years ago and I became depressed!.!.!.more so after I got there!. It was the first time I had lived that far away from parents and the thought of being somewhere new and unfamiliar was scarey!. Once I got out there it got worse because of not having any friends and my husband at the time was gone (he was in the service)!.

BUT!.!.!.once I decided enough was enough and started looking at it like an adventure, I loved it! Seeing new things and meeting new people is always exciting and fun!. I made some good friends while I was there and started socializing!. So it's all in HOW you chose your attitude about it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

its completely normal and i dont blame you at all!. i have moved many times, and just try to think of it as an adventure!. just because you're leaving a city or town doesnt mean its gone forever!. keep in touch, visit often! your adventure in that new city will eventually become home, plenty of new people, and there will be at least one person you will like!. get to know the place, and dont forget to be yourself! i wish you good luck! :)Www@Answer-Health@Com
