What did this statement mean?!

Question: What did this statement mean!?
At work, I was asked to be a co-adviser for a club at the school i work at!. I am naturally soft-spoken and have a fairly shy personality when I'm not teaching!. So, when I agreed to be the co-adviser, my co-worker was genuinely happy and excited!. As he was leaving the room, he smiled and said to one of our other coworkers: "We have to work on getting her out of the classroom"

What did he mean!? Do you think they think badly of me!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
I think that's a person that thinks you can be so much more than you presently are!.

Could be a good friend and you just don't realize it yet!.

I would think that he wants to broaden your horizons!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Probably nothing bad!.!.!.just want you to engage in activities with the other staff in work with students!. They don't want you to be just working alone in the classroom all the time!. I wouldn't think anything bad of it!. I used to teach!. Enjoy your experience!. It is hard sometimes to reach out and join in when you are shy!. Find your niche!. You will grow and you will love it!. It is great to do extracurricular activities with students!. That is an awesome part of school!. It truly enriches!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I am not him so i cannot speak intelligently for someone else, but!.!.!. i would think he was using humor to express his pleasure in your stepping up & since you are more introverted then i could only surmise he would be pleased to see you come out of your "shell" away from work too!.
but this is solely based on the little info above & without knowing either of you!.
Try to think positively about what others may think & say about & too you!.!.!. don't read too much into it!.
good luck with the club!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Not at all!. In my opinion, it sounds like they like you and want you to interact with them and get out a little more! I'd take it as a compliment!
