Do people with PTSD cling on to destructive relationships more than they do HEAL!

Question: Do people with PTSD cling on to destructive relationships more than they do HEALTHY relationships !?
Good question!. Well my girlfriend is still making contact with
me!.!.!.!.!. We talked last night over the telephone!. She told me
that she would be seeing other people, and I agreed to do the
same!. That is until we meet each other for the first time!.
Long distance relationship here!. OK It is rather odd though,
she told me that we needed a break!. But after she read
my emails, she decided to call me anyway ! And I let her
know that it is better, if we did not talk for a little while!.
All of this comes after she was caught seeing another guy!.
She confessed a few nights ago!. Last night was the ultimate
rekindle though!. However, I told her that we should not
be getting emotionally attactched like that!. So I may
try to dodge her for safe keeping!. But I feel the guy may
hurt her, and I will be there to comfort her in a time of need!.
Is this normal for people with PTSD to react this way in
relationships !?Www@Answer-Health@Com
