Question: My friend cuts her herself!? - What do I do!?
My friend cuts herself and it seems like what ever i say doesnt matter!. She started cutting herself when some guy lied to her and said her boy friend broke up with her!. Then she started cutting herself!. When she found out the boy was lieing she stoped!. Then her boy friend acctually did break p with her and she started cutting and then they got back to gether and she wont stop cutting!. I dont know the reason why she cut herself, but Im thinking family problems, no matter what i do or ay she wont stop!. What do I do!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

listen, this same thing happened to me!. at first, my friend was cutting herself just for attention, but then it started to get serious!. she ignored everything i said to her, or she'd take it the wrong way!. you need to get her help, anyway that you can!. this might mean telling an adult or someone who can get her help!. my friend now goes to a counsler that gives her advice and helps her with her emotional problems!. she gives her other options of dealing with stress & pain!. for example, flinging a rubberband on your wrist!. it may sound silly, but it works!. trust me!. ok!. bye!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Find someone that she does listen to, maybe her boyfriend, and if it gets really bad, you have to tell a school counselor of her parents!. I used to cut as well, until my friend cussed me out telling me how stupid i was!. (i dont suggest that just because people will take that very differently than i did) You must help her, even if you have to raid her room and take away any weapons, knives!. and everything, just help her!. she really needs it!.

if you need her to talk to someone who she don't know, she can talk to me, just cuz i know it's easier to talk to someone you don't know than your best friend!.

You need to be able to talk to her, people that cut use it as a way to get their mind off emotional pain!. If your feeling physical pain your thinking **** THIS HURTS, and not how depressed you are!. Probably should get this girl some help before she cuts in a really bad placeeeeee, that could never stop bleeding and shell have some nasty scarrs her whole life!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
She may have a mental problem, or maybe just depressed!. However it is not good to cut yourself, perhaps she needs some medication (I am not trying to be rude! :D )Www@Answer-Health@Com
