ha wow we must live in parallel universes!. honestly what helped me most were these four things:

a closer relationship with God for my broken heart
counseling for my confused thoughts
medication for my screwed up brain
and keeping busy for my hands and mind so i don't sulk

i wish there was something i could say to make you feel better, but from experience i know there isn't anything that can be said!. all i can say is that if i got better, then you definitely can!. best wishes to you love and things will get better! i know it's cliche but hang in there!Www@Answer-Health@Com

"Clinical" depression is a mental illness caused by a chemical imbalance in the brain!. It doesn't take any type of external event to create an episode of depression!. You need to consult your physician and explain to him/her your feelings of depression!. They will probably prescribe a mild ant-depressant, such as Wellbutrin!. If your depression is severe enough they may refer you to a Psychologist (nothing to be ashamed of, it doesn't mean your mentally unstable) to determine if you have any suicidal tendancies and prescribe
something stronger like lithium or paxil!. They may also want to set up some counselling sessions for you to talk about your problems and help you to cope with your feelings and emotions!. If you'd prefer to keep it anonymous,or would rather use a more natural, herbal, (holistic) approach, you can try
taking "St!. Johns Wort"!. It's an herbal medication in the form of a tablet which works very well for depression!. Some people even use it to help stop smoking!.
Depression is a mysterious illness!. People who do not suffer from it, have no idea how horribly defeating and unmanageable it can be!. They say, "just chear up", "think
positive", or "you'll get over it"!. But none of those are helpful at all, because you can have depression, but have absolutely
nothing to be depressed about!. "Good Luck!" please see a doctor or get some medication before it gets too severe!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Start with counseling!. If talking to someone doesn't help then do meds!.!.!.the main thing you can do is to be aware of how you feel so you can admit it!. Sometimes writing it down can help!. Writing is something you have to do which is slower than talking and can help you think and notice things you wouldn't if you were talking!. Sometimes writing with your less dominant hand helps too!.

Lots of people have depression, so I'd say it's pretty normal, especially after a break-up and all your stress you got going on right now!. If writing things down doesn't help, go to counseling, then the meds after that if that doesn't help!.!.!.and sometimes it's okay to just let yourself cry--it helps sometimes!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I wouldn't trust doctors, or therapists!. They will probably want to put you on drugs to cover and smother your natural feelings!. Depression is the minds way of telling you that you are doing negative things, so you are getting a negative feedback!. This is a most valuable tool!. Perhaps seeking counsel with your spiritual leader(rabbi, priest, pastor, etc!.) can help you identify the source of your negativity!. On the other hand, it may be obvious and you may already know what to do!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

This is very normal!. You simply are stressed out from all that you have to do and what is going on in your life!. I suggest you maybe take a day just to relax and forget about all those problems!. Do something that you really enjoy!. This might prevent your depression from coming back!. Good luck and hope I helped!!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

I think my depression started at about the same age, maybe a year later!. I didn't get help!.!. because I didn't know and I did not think about it too much!. This screwed up something that was very important to me!.!. so I think you should seek help!.!. not necessarily anti-depressants but stuff like exercise and other techniques to calm you!.!.

Best of luck :)Www@Answer-Health@Com
