I so often feel like this too!.

My GCSE's started this week!. I wish you luck in yours!.

I've had a really bad two years!. Two of my friends killed themselves, another one is trying to and the number of them I've had to help to stop self harming is astronomical!.

I have a boyfriend who my parents love, often more than me and I can't pick myself up from it!.

My GCSE's are screwed because my school ****** up majorly in staff turn-over and new courses and syllabusses!. Believe me - redoing 12pieces of coursework is NOT fun!.

The only thing I can truely recommend is have a long relaxing bath with smellies!. Think of some options, talk to someone (you can e-mail me if you wish - rachelmccarthy_uk@yahoo!.co!.uk), talk to your family!.!.!. all those kinds of things!. Think about how lucky you really are!. Positive thinking can do wonders!.

You will not fail!. Failing to prepare is preparing to fail!. But you sound like you've been preparing!. So it's all good!.

Thinking back to when i was 15 and was doing my GCSE's i would listen to music! it helped me to chill out loads, but i never had problems in my life whilst doing them

this is gonna be one of the most stressful times in your life!!

if you feel left out speak to your dad, that might help you to relax a bit better but im sure your just being silly - don't just do things to get his attention

You could buy some things for your room to make it look a bit better, have you seen wooden roses!? ive got those all over my house and they last a HELL of alot longer than real flowers obviously lol they cheer my dull rooms up, how about some photos of you and friends during happy times or family during happy times, i had a pinboard in my room FULL of photographs, that always made me feel happy when times were tough because you can remember the good times and remember that even tho sometimes during life there are some hard times there are plenty of good times :)

if all else fails, go see your GP and have a chat!

good luckWww@Answer-Health@Com

find something that makes you happier, mine is spending time with friends and listening to music - when im really down, i'll take my dog for a long walt to calm down a bit!.

btw, what did you accidentally do wrong!?

maybe, if you've been feeling down for a while, it's time to visit the doctor and see if this is something you can overcome with help!?

also - at the time, GCSEs seem sooo imprtant, but, if you're on of those people going on to do A-Levels and a degree, by the time you're half way through year 12, they will be a long distant memory, the only time they come up again is when you're writing a CV! Dont worry about them too much, obv, try to do your best, but if you need some time to sort your head out, take it!. remember, some things are more imprtant, my sister (a teacher) said 'if you end up having to resit, hey ho!' at the end of the day, if you're not happy, you're not going to do as well, so try to sort your head out, is there anything that makes you sad!? then move on to sort out your education, you only get one mind, but you'll have many opportunities at education!.

Good luck! XxWww@Answer-Health@Com

A simple yet effective way for one to relax is to sit quitely and confortably while reasonably upright, close ones eyes so that only a small amount of light enters and breathe!.
Be aware of each breath in and each breath out!.
Should any thought arise, smiply recognize it as a thought and allow it to pass without judging it, labeling it, etc!. It is just a thought!.
If you find that you become distracted, don't worry, just re-focus on your breathing!.
Your concentration will increase and you will relax!.

How one feels emotionally in regards to any aspect or aspects of ones life is a personal choice and is usually based on ones subjective few of who one thinks things are rather than how things actually are!.

Why choose to be miserable or unhappy when it is just as easy to choose happiness!?

To often, one becomes fixated on a particular idea or an upcoming event, or on the desire for something!. Ideas, like thoughts come and go and pass quickly!. Event come and go in a similar manner!. Material things do not last!. Even we, ourselves, do not last!.

Let go of such desires and simply be, allowing all that is to be as it is!.

To brighten your room, open the window shades and/or curtains so as to let the sun it!.
If you walls are covered with posters or pictures which mght be of dark colors, take them down and let the light wall tone be visible!.
If the room is cluttered, clean and straighten it, organize and make the space appear larger!.
Put flowers in your room!. They can be wild flowers, or garden flowers!.
As you make your room brighter perhaps your mind will brighten as well!.

May it all be well with you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

There are things you may do t relax yourself!. Drink chamomile tea!. Go for walks and practice breathing in slowly while counting to ten then exhale slowly while counting to five!. Do this from your diaphragm!. to find out where that is, lie on your back on the floor of your bedroom and place the palm of your hand on your stomach about where your belly button is!. As you breathe, you should feel your hand raise up and down!.
Practice the ten in 5 out while lying on the ground until you feel you can do this while walking!.
Also, smells/scent can be relaxing!. Tuck a sprig of rosemary into your pillow case at night to help you relax!. Lavender is also a relaxing scent!. Place a bowl of apples next to your bed!. Their smell is also relaxing!.
What kind of music do you listen to!? Replace it with music that does not have words, that is just instruments and make sure it is slow and relaxing not face paced!.
Do you have a pet!? Pets are relaxing!. If your parents will allow it, see if you can get a cat!. A nice one that will let you play with it!.
Read, paint, take up a hobby that will help you take your mind off your worries!. Must important, study your school lessons so you will pass!. That way, you won't worry so much about them!.
Good luck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

As a mental health professional with 20+ years experience, now retired, I'm attentive to what you said in the first "paragraph" of your question: "I accidentally did something wrong!. I just don't feel good!." If you were in my office, I'd ask you, in all confidentiality, exactly what you're talking about!. Getting that cleared up may be a big move to getting you to feeling better, but, if you don't deal with it, you may NEVER "feel better"!. I'm not asking you to tell me what it is that you accidentally did, but I'm saying that talking to someone about it, someone you can trust, is very important to your feeling better!. Then, once that's in the clear, you'll be able to study better and do better on your GCSE's!.

God Bless you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

aww, know how you feel

yoga, and meditation really do help!.

why dont you try having an afternoon off!?
sit down, watch a fave film/tv program

you could invite a friend round

and then (this cud help with your room as well) go through old magazines, and cut out pictures you think are cool, statements which you can relate to etc, stick it al on a piece of paper, add some sequins or whatever, and it then put it on your wall!.
to make your room happier, you could try doing those of these, with pictures of your friends, to cheer you up!.

yess, do look up feng shui!.

try some new hobbies, see what helps you zone out

find some music that you relate to, sit out side and just listen to it

hope any of it helps

I have my GCSE's coming up as well!
At the end of the day when it comes to exams, youve done all your revision and your obhviosuly going to try your hardest, therefore you cant ask yousefl for anything more than to do your best possible and to me it seems that you have done this!.
At the end of the day if worst comes to worst!.!.theres alwasy re-takes!.!.not completely ideal but not the end of the world if you dont get what was expected!. Honestly also, i have many firends in the years above and they say as soon as their over!.!.they barely ever hear about GCSE's their juts like your SATS as soon as their over!.!.no one really thinks about them too much!!

Also, the new child is going to get quite a lot of attention for now as they are of course a baby!. Although you may feel left out im sure your Dad has no idea your feeling like this!.!.perhaps becasue you havent told them which i understand is hard but how about writing a letter or e!.mail to your parents!?!?

What is it that you accidently did wrong!? If it was an accident then you arent to blame as you didnt intentionally do it! You need to write down all of your problems on a list and just think about the worst possible outcome!. Honestlt i sufffer from stress and anxiety as well and i can tell you as soon as like you dont think about your problem for a while then it does seemingly go away!. Im extremely paranoid a lot of the time also!.

In your room you need to de-clutter!. Keep it clean and tidy and i can assure you that it will make you feel better!!
To relax just do the list exrecise and perhaps talk to your friends about it!?!?

Good luck!
:]Www@Answer-Health@Com

You've been put in a very difficult situation here!. Between and other problems you may be having and feeling forgotten or left out, I can relate also!. What I did was I talked to whoever I felt was causing the problem mainly, which in this case seems like your Dad and Step Mum!. Tell them you feel as if your new sibling gets more attention and no body seems to care for you and your needs!. The best approach is to be completely honest at a time that is convenient for everyone; like if you eat dinner together as a family, maybe after diner pull your Dad and Step Mum aside and tell them how you feel!. It also helps to go to a nurturing friend that will listen to you and comfort you!. As for your room, do you have a favorite section of your room!? A window or something!? I'd suggest putting a chair or a comfortable mat or something down nearby where you can relax, write down any thoughts you have had, talk on the phone, or even just sit and think or sleep;
Hope I helped and I hope you feel better! If you have any other problems you can e-mail me, it's not a problem!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Can you phone the samaritians or child line and have a chat with someone!? If not book an appointment with the doctor or school nurse!. Does your school have a counsellor!?

I think you need to talk to your dad and step mum and tell them that you are feeling stressed about your gsce's, hopefully they will listen to your concerns properly!.

There is always someone to listen to you and to take all your concerns seriously, whether its family, friends parents or school teachers!.

Don't buy candles as someone suggested in case you burn something, buy a little plant that you can nourish and watch grow!.

Have a big hug from me too!. XX Take care!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
