Death~
Is it really so bad!?
Jesus endured it
worse than anyone could imagine!
for us he endured it
seemingly endless torture
Could it be so bad!?
Is it like falling asleep!?
Or easier!? Harder!?
Is it really so bad!?
At funerals it's sad
a loved one is gone!.
If no one loves you,
Why live!?
Is death really so bad!?
This poem I wrote for Bettany, who helped me keep from committing suicide!. She wanted me to write another poem!. I want opinions!?!?

The Accident~
Screeching
Blood
On the floor
tears rolling
down mothers cheeks
as they have lost
their only child
to the gas pig
that stupid car
who kills kids!.

Tears would be rolling down my cheeks if either you or my son were to die!
The thing about poetry is to get it out of your head down on paper like you just did!. Then in a week, you go back and read it again and revise it!.
This kind of poetry can go with art too!. Splotches of color to set the mood!. You have a lot to work with!. Not many kids can throw words together so quickly and have it work right away!
I get a good visual image from both poems!
Tomorrow morning when you wake up go outside and breath the air!. Notice the trees, the sky, the clouds, the rain, the sun, the flowers!. Did you know we are made up of the same stuff!. We are connected to each other----even the trees!. This is the power of the human spirit!. You will go far my friend with your talent!.
Tomorrow, make sure you mom gets you a counselor at a hospital!. You shouldn't have to feel you want to die!. You are much too young and have soooooooo much to offer!
