First of all trauma isn't something you Get, like the flu!. It is the result of being exposed to a horrific situation and mental turmoil!. There would not be one sole survivor of the holocaust who had not been traumatised!
There are many forms of trauma such as post traumatic disorder syndrome whereby the trauma does not manifest itself until long after the event happened that caused the trauma!. This was very prelevant among vietnam veterans!.
There is blunt force trauma (different again) where for example someone is hit over the head with a baseball bat or a car accident!. Another example is trauma caused by child abuse and so on and so on!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

i really dont know who that person is but ill answer your question about how can a psychiatrist suffer trauma--- my asnwer is because he's just a human too!.!.!. yes, he knows what the causes of traumas are but being a psychiatrist doesnt excempt him from suffering from one!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
