Answers:
I take 1 mg twice a day!. It keeps me calm and less emotionally labile than I usually am!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I don't take the medication, but my friend does and she says she takes two 1 mg tablets of ativan (lorazepam) daily!. She says that it does help to calm you, it can work as an antiemetic (for nausea) but it does not make you cry any easier (at least for her)!. The benefits can decrease after taking the medication for a lengthy period and you may have to have your dose adjusted!. Be sure and do not drink alcohol when taking anything like this because alcohol adds to the effect and has resulted in death!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It doesn't make the sad go away!. That's not its purpose!. It may calm you somewhat but it is only temporary, sort of a band-aid measure if you're really depressed!. Are you sad or depressed!? I wouldn't take it as feel good medication!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I'm on that for when I have panic attacks, and it helps me to calm down and relax!. It doesnt neccessarily make you cry, it makes you feel a little more relaxed and peaceful!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

If you are depressed, this is the wrong med for you!. Talk about this with your doc!.

ETA: You should tell your doc about the PMS!. There are different SSRIs you can take that will help!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I'm on it on an as needed basis for social anxiety!. It mellows me out when I'm really anxious or stressed!. It actually keeps me from crying sometimes because that's part of my anxiety attacks!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
