They're usually because you're scared or very stressed about something - the problem with anxiety is that it's often not obvious exactly what the issue is!. A lot of the way we feel and react to things is because of automatic thoughts which go through our heads without us noticing them!. So you could be having one particular thought about something, which leads to another, and another, and so on, eventually spiralling into panic!.

Have a chat to your doctor about what you've experienced - antidepressant medication can be helpful, but you might want to try talking to someone first!. Cognitive Behavioural Therapy can help you to re-train your thought patterns so you can manage stress better!.

I suffer from panic attacks, too!. Usually I knew what was causing them, but last summer I had them out of nowhere!. Every day for two weeks this happened, then I finally called my doctor!.

I still don't know exactly what brought them on, but I know it's related to something that happened in my life at that time!. It just makes no sense to me that I had panic attacks over something that I wasn't afraid of!.

I think they tend to occur because a person is afraid of something but the fear may be in the subconcious mind and hard to pinpoint!.

Talk to your doctor about getting some meds, or use a self-help technique!.

Good luck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
