Answers:
psychosis is a break from reality, so no cutting is not a psychotic symptom!. The thoughts that lead someone to cutting could be a psychotic symptom!. For example I have seen a patient convinced that aliens were inside her and she tried to cut them out!. A delusion is a fixed false belief!. Worthless and unloveable would not be a delusional thought!. Delusions are usually of grandeur (thinking they are more important) like wanting to contact the FBI or president for being involuntarily admitted to a psychiatric facility!. Other common delusions are of persecution (paranoia) thinking the phones are tapped, being watched, the police are coming to get me that kind of thingWww@Answer-Health@Com
