Question: Is it wrong that when people thank G-d for something, I get slightly angry!?
I have nothing against G-d!. I am a believer in G-d, and am Jewish!. I just get annoyed when people thank G-d that one of their relatives got better after having cancer or another kind of illness!.!.!.SUPRISE! G-d didn't make your relative better! Modern Medicine did! Is it wrong or weird that I have this problem!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

I think you might have a tendency to believe in modern medical science and technology maybe a little more than G-d!. It is certainly more tangible than G-d!. I hope both help us through!. We can use all the help we can get!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
As a nurse I can tell you that you can take two patients with exactly the same serious problem!.!.!. who get exactly the same treatment!.!.!. and one may do well!.!.!. and the other not!. So while Modern Medicine certainly had a role in one person's recovery, was it the ONLY factor!.!.!. perhaps not!. Studies have shown that the power of prayer does help patients in their recovery!. So if prayer works, why should we assume that the entity being prayed to was not a factor!?
Here's another little factoid!. In the early '90s, only 3 out of approximately 125 medical schools discussed the importance of spirituality with their students!. Today, fully 2/3 have spirituality as part of their curriculum!. If the DOCTORS respect the role of a God in medicine!.!.!. shouldn't you!?
As a final thought, my mother who has been through a lot of medical problems in the last few weeks had a top vascular surgeon brought in just last week to consult on her case!. Before he left, he offered to sit down with us and pray for God's help in her recovery!. It was a beautiful and heartfelt prayer!.

I have a heart condition that I was born with,then I was diagnosed
with a deviated septum(surgery),have had two knee surgeries,4 breast biopsies,5 surgeries on stomach then hit with degenerative disc's disease of spine and neck,then hit again with Fibromyalgia,and I had asked my Doctor what did I do to piss God off so bad that he is doing this to me!.!.!.Crying so bad I couldn't see straight !.!.She had said God only gives a person what he thinks you can handle so I just take each day as it comes & Thank God I can get out of bed everyday!.!.!.

I get annoyed if I help someone with a problem and he or she thanks God!. But that's my insecurity!.
God may have nudged the person to the right doctor!. He may have given the doctor the insight to find the right treatment!. God gave the scientists the brains to create modern medicine!.

I have seen God perform healing miracles like you wouldn't believe!. God does heal, if the person believes and receives it!.
I thank God every day for His blessings, and for His love and protection, because I believe everything comes from God originally!.

It is sort of weird that it makes you angry!. I don't believe that god makes people better either on his own, but this is what my mother has always said: Help yourself and god will help you!.
