I don't think you have now "started something"

You have done this only once and are already aware that its perhaps not the best thing to do!.
You have the choice right here, right now to decide not to!. Don't freak out Hun, just because you have done it once does not mean that you have to continue doing it!. You sound like a very bright girl and you are aware that this is not a good path to take!.
You have to make the decision to take a different path!.
Like you (and probably millions of others) i don't 100% like the way i look, but i blame myself beacasue i just eat crappy food, and lol on the sofa watching deadenders and expect to look like a supermodel!. ;-)
Here's what i do, each night when im beating myself up about all the crap ive eaten, as soon as i realise thats waht im doing i strongly tell myself instead of finding neagative ways to deal with it (like throwing up) I do stomach crunches, as many as it takes to stop me giving myself a hard time!. This works in two ways, 1) its making my tummy look better, 2) the exercise totally changes the chemical balance in my brain (exercises produces endorphins, which help to change how you were thinking before you started)
When you do that you can be proud that you are "doing something" thus beating yourself up less!.
Like you i have limited monies so the gym is out of the question, but try walking around your block once a day!. As soon as the negative thoughts creep up on you, get up and do something active, it really helps!.
Also, something a Dr friend told me when i was considering making myself sick, has stuck in my brain ever since, and made me realise there is just no point in trying throwing up as a quick fix to weight issues:
When you start being sick, your body goes into starvation mode at first, while your tummy is thinking "OMG what are you doing to me" it swells, so you actually look fatter than you truly are!. Also if you make yourself sick all the time, any food you do have isnt getting absorbed by the digestive system in the normal way, so as soon as you do eat your weight can actually go up higher than it normaly is!. So you have a vicious circle!.

Exercise is very good for your mental health, i have suffered from depression for 13 years, and exercise is truly the best medicine above all meds to instantly change how you feel!. Another trick is if you are feeling down, have a sweet cup of tea, instantly changes the chemical balance in your brain, and helps get you out of the down rut!.

You can chage this now, make the decision and stick to it!. Exercise is the only truly effective way to control your weight, and it helps your head too!.
Instead of making the decsion to make yourslf sick, make the decision to take control of the situation and try what ive said, just give it a go, you have nothing to lose and everything to gain!.

Also, at a size 8/10 you are my ideal size,am bit jealous lol ;-)
i used to be 8/10 and am now 10/12,
People always used to say to me "what's your proiblem, you're not overweight" and it used to annoy the hell out of me becasue in truth it doesnt matter what other people say, its how you feel about yourself thats important, and im sure you probably feel the same, but i still have to say it cos its the truth ;-) you're not overweight hun, but its you thats gotta be happy with you!.
Be strong, and just give it a try
Good luck & take careWww@Answer-Health@Com

Speak to your mum and tell her what you have done and that you have worries!. This is no short term thing, if you don't get help you will get addicted to vomiting, it is not the answer!. You are not fat at size 8-10 and you do not need to have the money for a gym to tone up, you are making excuses and you need help, that is obvious by the fact that you self harm!. Don't go down the road of bullimia, get help now before it gets a hold of you!. Please talk to somebody!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

if your an 8 and 10 jeans you dont need to lose weight!. I feel like that all the time!. Just do sit ups in your room build yourself up 2 100 a day!. and do press ups, if you find it hard do the girl press ups!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

go home and live with your mum, and ask this question to a Doctor, Psychologist or Psychiatrist not on this forum but in private where you can be treated for what seems a tragic but treatable episodeWww@Answer-Health@Com

You should talk to a school counseler!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

dont try and lose weight - try and tone up!. grab running shoes and run around the corner!. take $5 and buy resistance bands from walmart!. if your mom cooks then portion what you (or rather her probably) think is okay to eat!. if you dont eat your body will store fat and when you're older it'll be super hard to lose weight cuz your body won't know what you're doing to it!. eat 1200 calories a day and maintain a good exercise schedule!. exercising has a way of releasing tension!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Well, if it's your first time, then no!. Stop something before it starts!. You sound like you have a lot on your plate!. Since you see a doctor and maybe Bi-polar you should be put on meds and you in turn will find your balance!.Your meds might take a while to find the right ones!. Listen to your Doctors, make sure they listen to you and educate yourself on things you are going through!.

Try talking to your mom about eating more healthy foods!. Maybe you can shop with her!. Try cooking some healthy meals for the family!. You will feel great if you are the one helping everybody in the house to eat right!.

Take care and don't give up!Www@Answer-Health@Com
