Question: I am NOT suicidle!.!. But i need advice!. Easy 10 points!?!?!?
I have a very stressful lifestyle and i want to know what this might be!. Im not feeling suicidle! But i do want to hurt myself!. I have had this before and it went away!. I am turing into a very mean person! I want to really hurt myself and do really crazy things, just for the pain, and i keep having like a second though in my head telling me that i DONT want to hurt myself!!! Its like two people inside of my head!?!? Whats going on!? I have thoughts of cutting myself and stuff and two different attitudes! What could this be!?

It seemed to go away but now its back!. I want to do really bad things!. Not to other people, but to myself!. And people that make me angry!. I lead a normal yet stressful life!. Any ideas what this might be!? Someone told me that its a sign of possesion!.!. Is this true!?

What can i do to stop it!? Whn i get really mad i want to faint, and my throat closes up and i cant breath!. Will rate best answer and no rude comments please!.!.!. Its just a question!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Well, let me ask this, do you enjoy pain!? Does it feel good!?
Because if that is true, you may simply have an adrenaline addiction!. (Join the club) In that case, you just need some thrills, or a source of pain that is non-damaging!.

But, that also sounds like anxiety attacks!.

You might have a hormonal imbalance, you might have simple frustration from underachievement (i!.e!. wanderlust)!. You might not be telling us that you are suffering from a past event of a very stressful nature that you can do nothing about!.

I will be honest, this sort of thing sounds like helpless frustration!. In that there is something going on beyond your control and it is slowly driving you mad!. In that case, it's time to bring order into your life, it's all you can do really!. Find out what you want, plan how to get it, execute said plan!. Then when everything is stowed away, relax there's nothing left to worry about!.

One of the things I have started doing is keeping a journal that way I can get all that stuff out of my head and close the book until I need it again !.Also breathing is under-rated just try a take DEEP breaths and count to ten (you know like ! Well, if you have such a stressful life, you can always take a breather!. I have met many people with these, so it's pretty normal!. but if you think you don't need it, try taking the stress off by playing some sports!. You can blow off some steam AND get a decent exercise!. And about doing bad stuff to other people part, don't worry, alot of people have that feeling!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

To me it sounds like you have some form of depression!. People with borderline personalities are apt to harm themselves, but since you have not, I would not classify you as such!. Everyone goes through some form of stress and may be depressed for long periods of time!. My advice to you would be to seek therapy and possibly be put on an anti-depressant!. Try talking to people you know!. Some people may not know what stress you are going thru!. Open up and let people help you!.

I also get stressed and get that feeling you have!. I have 2 small kids with me most of the time when i stress out and I just cry, start cleaning, shower!.!. anything to get out of that feeling!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Alot of people cut there self or hurt there self because it's a stress releif!. Try to do less damaging things if you feel like hurting yourself, like biting your thumb or pinching your arms, its alot better than cutting yourself!. I know cuz I too have done it and now i'm stuck with scars!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Try going to a Dr!.
It could be a lack of seratonin in your brain that causes anxiety and/or depression!. Similar to being diabetic, but in your brain, not your pancreas!.

I feel the same way!.

Honestly the most effective thing for me has been working out!. I'll run when I'm just not feeling right (but not angry) and lift when I'm really pissed off!.
It really hurts sometimes but you just keep going because you want to feel the "pain" but it's actually constructive in the long run!.
After just a week I started really feeling better!. Not nearly as many bad thoughts or urges!. Make sure you stick with it though because once you start feeling better you're likely going to stop exercising and you might start feeling bad again (I did)!. So, make sure you stick with it!.

Maybe you'll figure out what's going on in your head some day soon, but until you do, put a notice on craigslist!.org to:

Do something physically demanding (outlet for your rage!.) and productive (makes you feel good or brings in money)!. The fact that you are not afraid of pain gives you a major head start!. Come up with something you can start right away!.

Demolish an old shed!.
Build a fence!.
Mow lawns for old people!.
Find a dead tree, chop firewood!.
Tear out a deck!.
Find used bricks, build a barbeque!.


Lame but true:
Hard workers get tired!.
Tired people sleep!.
Sleeping people do not hurt themselves!.

stress can do a lot of things to a person it can affect them mentally or physically!.maybe the reason for you wanting to harm is there might be some pain deep inside which is really bothering you,sometimes when we hold things in,after awhile it can make a person want to do harmful things!.you can try to distract yourself away from the stressor,even put some limits on things,so it doesn't become overwhelming and allow yourself to take break,so your mind has a change to recharge and get focus and clarity back!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Your story sounds all too familiar!. I would suggest going to a doctor and talking about it to him or her, as I went through the same thing (ie!. wanting to hurt myself, doing really crazy things) and I was diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder about 4 years ago!. My "episodes" would come and go, just like you described, but each time they came back, it was worse than the last time!. I'm in no way giving you a diagnosis, but I am suggesting that you talk to your doctor about it, especially if you are thinking about cutting yourself and if you can't breathe when you get really mad!. You may be put on medication and/or put through therapy for treatment if you are found to have a condition!. I wish you luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com
