it is awesome that u relize u have a problem and want 2 stop! and before i say anything else just 2 let u know im 14 and have struggled with anorexia for years so i know how hard it is!. **and everyone who said just eat it's not that simple** the first major struggle with anorexia i did not see any therapists or consulars, but i did have the support of my friends, bf, and an adult im close 2!. now im having a second major struggle with it and this time im seeing a phyciatrist and a therapist!. it may seem annoying at first having 2 be constantly weighed and write what u eat daily in a food journal but it will eventually help u! if u r depressed u might want to try anti-depresents(don't worry they won't make u "happy" because im on them for other resons and im never "happy") good luck! hope this helps! :)Www@Answer-Health@Com

i don't know if you know this but you probably do!.!.!.anorexia is a control issue!. It stems form bigger issues!. I doubt you will be able to get a hold of it unless you get to the root of the problem with therapy!.
Knowing it is a problem and wanting to stop is the first step as is any addiction!. You've done that , now you need outside help, as does any addiction!. Good luck to you :)Www@Answer-Health@Com

JUst know that you are perfect only when you are happy, and that people wont look at you as fat if you have a good personality!. but you may want to speak to a psychologist/psychiatristWww@Answer-Health@Com

I applaud you for taking responsibility for this debilitating and devastating illness!.!.!. if you really want to get better it is going to be an uphill battle against your will and against the distorted images you see when you look in the mirror!.!.!. in order to get mentally healthy again, you will definitely need to solicit outside help!.!.!. I find that group settings offer much more solace than trying to win this on your own!.!.!. this way you are around other girls who share the same thing with you, but who are all wanting to get back to living and get back to a normal life where you aren't consumed by food!

I know you can do it!.!.!. research in and out patient programs where you can go for recovery! They are out there!.!.!.the first step belongs to you!!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

It's all about control!.

What is it in your life that you can't control!? Do you have abusive parents or demanding overbearing situations!? Have you suffered from abuse in the past!? Whatever it is, it is obvious that the only thing you think you CAN control is your food intake!. It's a self-image problem!.

http://www!.remudaranch!.com for help!.

It isn't cheap but it WORKS!. I had a former significant other who had to go there for 45 days for treatment stemming from childhood abuse and they have a great program!. I was able to attend group sessions and was impressed by their methodology and success!.

Consult a mental health professional who *specializes* in eating disorders and talk to them about in-patient treatment, like Remuda Ranch in Wickenburg, AZ!. There are other facilities as well, and most medical insurance will cover this sort of treatment, or at least part of it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
