took my first 25 mg this morning!. i am having slight numbness on the left side of my body!. is this a side effect and will it go away!? anyone who took this drug please tell me of side effects!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I didn't have that effect and don't know anyone who has!. If it is caused by Lamictal (IF), it should go away w/in a couple days!. Lamictal can effect moods while ramping up!. It can cause minor headaches, dizziness, and some other side effects that go away w/time!. The one to watch out for is the rash!. Most likely the numbness is something else or if this is your first mood stabilizer, caused by a bit of fear about taking it!. That said, if it doesn't go away in a couple days, call your doctor!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
