Question: How do you relieve anger and stress without breaking things or hurting people!?
okay so im really stressed out and get easly angry, i have realized that im stating to get violent and try to hurt people and i also break things!. for example: i got layed off from my job and i was on the phone with my mom and she starting grilling me because she thinks that im wasting my life with one little thing thats been bothering me!. i got so upset i threw a glass and the wall and it shattered!. I don't like how angry i get and how stressed i am and i am looking for a doctor free way to relieve stress!.!.!.!.!.!. help!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

You are going through quite a number of stressors right now!. It is hard!. It is okay to be angry over being laid off!. I've been there and it causes alot of depression, anger, and anxiety!. One thing to try is taking out a notebook and writing down everything going through your mind!. It can help to bring up what is going on that is triggering the anger!. I would offer calling your local human service center, they can offer help that is free or on a sliding scale!. They provide counseling services too!. No one will be judging you or sticking a label on you!. Even if they and you do come up with a diagnosis, it does not mean that things will always be like that!.

Meditation and yoga are very good options!. Take a walk, that does not cost anything and is better for your body if you are not in good shape then running!. Exercise is a major help for me!. Journaling is a major help!. I also do Progressive Muscle Relaxation and hypnosis!. Hypnosis does not have to make you run out and cluck like a chicken or something like that!. It does not mean someone is in control of your mind!. You can stop at any time simply by opening your eyes!.

Your public library would have CDs and DVDs on relaxation and stress management!. There are also many free mp3s of relaxation and stress management available on the Internet!.

This is a good start! Recognizing the problem helps to address how to deal with it!. If you can eliminate the cause of the stress, that is the single easiest way to solve the problem, obviously, that is seldom possible!. If you find that the stress is causing a certain reaction in you, in this case anger and aggression, and that you like to break things, then that may be the best way to diffuse and cope!. Try putting up a punching bag and beating that when you get angry instead of having uncontrolled outbursts!. About the best way that I express my anger is by doing heavy cleaning in the bathroon, kitchen, or basement!. If it is really bad, I can leave the garage looking beautiful!.

I can also replant the garden, but it can be expensive and is best done in the early spring or fall, not the summer!. When angry I try to avoid activities that use any dangerous machinery, and try to be careful when driving!.

Get some exercise! Exercise releases endorphins (the feel-good neurotransmitter!.) It also just makes you feel incredible, like you can take on anything!. Also, when you feel yourself start to lose control, try some breathing exercises!. Just close your eyes (not while driving!) and breath in for an eight count then breath out for an eight count (or whatever numbers work for you!.) It doesn't help things to get so angry!. Try listening to music and breath, dance, go for a hike, ride your bike, watch TV, draw a picture of how you feel, read a book, write how you are feeling, talk to a friend!. The good thing about you is that you accept that you are not Ok!. It's good that you are seeking professional help!. there are alot of ways to relieve stress, go to a gym, for a walk, play music, watch tv, eat, but not too much
look for free stuff you can do, maybe talk to a counsellor, if you can afford, talk to friends who care and will listen

Start kickboxing and boxing the air!. Go somewhere!. I find this helps me!. Take a deep breath if you can't leave the situation!. Rationalize!. Be logical!. Think things through!. Just keep trying to do that!. Practice yoga and pilates!. Meditation!. Just sit indian style, be quiet, and don't let yourself think about anything except to concentrate on your breathing and clearing your head!. iam a professional and i have a lot of clients with the same problem!. i strongly suggest getting a consultation with a psychiatrist and joining therapy groups focusing on anger and stress management!. contrary to popular belief, u DO NOT need to be mentally ill to get a little professional help!. beware of advices like- punch a pillow, scream, listen to rock, etc!. when u do these u not only cover up the core problem u might actually become more aggressive!.!.!.wy dont u go to psychiatric medicine website and look up' anger management groups' and 'stress management groups'!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

go to a metal concert and crowd surf, or jump in the mosh pit!! I have 3 kids, can't hardly pay my bills, my parents are drug addicts, and my grandmother who raised me is dying, I have been super stressed and It is what I do at least once a month!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Online shooters are great for relieving stress, such as Call of Duty 4 (or if you want a free one, GunZ) because you CAN hurt people on them, without actually hurting them!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

if you really want help there is a group call anger management and when you find yourself getting nagery eather takae a walk, take a deep breath and try to think befour you act!. take deep breathes and breat ;out slowly, get yourself a stress ball spueesze everytime you feel your self get angery!. your mom may not understasnd your stress, do the best you can let her roll off your back , in her own way she means well!. if you reakuze you have a paromblem, do what you can to get help cause there is help ;out there and other people getting help for the same reason!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
