Okay, I suffer from anxiety and because of it, I get a pressure/pain in my head and I was convinced I had a brain tumour!. I had a Drs appointment and he said I was fine!. I still get the pressure in my head, but I now know it's because I get really anxious all the time!.

I also had chest pains and I was again convinced I was going to have a heart attack, and the Dr checked my heart and blood pressure and he again told me I was fine!.

But due to the anxiety, every time I get a pain, I'm convinced I have a tumour!. If I get a cut/scrath, I think it will go septic!. If I have a lump, I'm convinced I have cancer, it's a neverending cycle and it seems to never stop!.

I hate it, and I know I'm a hypochondriac, but I can't help it!. Was I'm reassured by my Dr, I always come up with something else being wrong with me!.

Anyway, I hope this answers your question!Www@Answer-Health@Com

No, not a hypochondriac but I have several health issues that require me to be vigilant lest new symptoms mean a turn for the worse!.

I've learned to separate the pains I can deal with from the pains that need to be brought to the doctor's attention but, when in doubt, go in to be checked because, as I said, I suffer from several health issues!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I don't think I'm a hypochondriac, but probably more like paranoia!.!.like if someone says "Oh, I think I have a sore throat!.," then I kind of get scare and am like, "Oh my gosh, I might be getting a sore throat too!." Then, I kind of feel like I have a sore throat, but really I know I don't!. So I guess I'm not a hypochondriac like you, but you might not actually be a hypochondriac either!. For example, some people have symptoms and the doctor says they're fine, when in fact they might have cancer!. Not that I'm saying you do, because I'm not, but I can't really tell actually if you're a hypochondriac!. Did your doctor tell you you're a hypochondriac!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

i used to be the exact same way, and then was diagnosed with depression, i am now on paxil and i don't get thoses aches/pains nearly as much as i used to!!

are you depressed!? depression causes ALOT of aches and pains that doctors cannot pinpoint!. it is due to an inadequate amount of the good chemicals!. ever see that commercial for cymbalta!? they say depression hurts and the people are suffering from body aches and pains all over!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
