Answers:
how does your wife feel

i was like this with my meds
in the end, well actually from the beginning i talked to my husband, honesty really was the best policy, i said to him that even though i dont make the first move and have absolutely no feelings i dont mind getting intimate

just i have no energy to be the first one to go for it

this really helped, and my husband was lovely about it

what we did i said ok every time he wanted sex

then it just became natural part of the stoned on meds world

i didnt feel anything but what i did get was part of a relationship

as long as your wife is loving and caring this should be fine

maybe you will only be on meds for another year or so

anyway it least you found meds that are great for you

make love with your wife when she wants it

best wishes for the future

You should be able to be physically intimate with your wife enjoying touch and stroking and caressing and cuddling even if you have erectile dysfunction!. Talk to professionals about erectile dysfunction because I'm sure there are things that can be done!. But in the meantime don't miss out on shared sensuality with your wife just because you can't go all the way!. It is important to keep your relationship alive physically so if you feel inhibited in this area then you should seek help!. Also talk to your wife extensively about things--your thoughts and your feelings!. And solicit her thoughts and feelings!. It is always better to work together on these things!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Ross I would never suggest that you go off the meds because I know how very very hard it is to get on the right mix of meds for bipolar!. Now knowing you finally became successful in controlling your bipolar and you are stabilized, you have a different problem!. Hmm!. It does sound like your bipolar meds have that side effect!. Bipolar meds are notorious for having a plethora of unpleasant and down-right agonizing side effects!.

The only thing I can think of is maybe you go back to your doctor and tell him your side effects and maybe he can prescribe something for the side effect so to speak!. Sorry I couldnt be of any more help!. I know how difficult it is but DONT stop your meds!. Good luck!. I wish you the best!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
