Some weird mental problems.?!

Question: Some weird mental problems!.!?
hey!.

I'm 20, male and in the past I've suffered from severe depression, anxiety and panic attacks!.

Recently I've been experiencing some things!.

Sometimes i get thoughts randomly popping into my head telling myself that a family member/friend is going to die and this is solely because i thought it!. and the only way to make myself better is to call them, or go see them to make 100% sure and then tell them how much they mean to me!.

Also, having to tell friends "goodnight" at a certain time, every night, and if i dont i feel uneasy like something wrong is going to happen!. Some other things are, when i hear a word, every word usually, i quickly count the letters, and place them in boxes in mind sorting them out into even words and odd words!.

That about sums it up!.
I only get to feeling this in the evenings usually, now im pretty sure i should see a doctor!.

but im curious to anyone experienced similar things, if they can shed some light on some stuff!.

Thanks!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Hi Mr N,
I think this is bordering on paranoia, paranoid thinking and behavior are hallmarks of the form of schizophrenia called "paranoid schizophrenia!." Individuals with paranoid schizophrenia commonly have extremely bizarre delusions or hallucinations, almost always on a specific theme!. Sometimes they hear voices that others cannot hear or believe that their thoughts are being controlled or broadcast aloud!.
Also, their performance at home and on the job deteriorates, often with a much diminished degree of emotional expressiveness!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Sounds like the begining of some obsessive compulsive issues!. I recently developed OCD - but I've always had anxiety issues!. Anxiety in general stems from things we cannot control, not being or feeling 'in control', and fear of the unknown - you're compensating with things you CAN control!.!.!.!. counting, sorting, organizing, arranging, timing!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

in all honsety it seriously sounds liKe OCD!. u NEEED to tell the doc taht u may have it etc and wat these pills r doing to u as well, like the dreams and convulsions!!!!! And u neeed to be seeing a psychaitrist who is licensed and who u feel comfortable with and who has experience with ur symptoms!. Plz do this and try to take it easy and be aware of the side effects the pills can produce!.

It sounds like things might be starting to build up on you again!. I suggest that you visit the doc!. And enquire if you can have a counsellor, hopefully then when your anxiety finally goes again then talking to your counsellor might give you an outlet for your stresses/pain!.!.

Hope you feel better soon!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

you need to see a psychologist or psychiatrist!. This is anxiety and obsessive compulsive disorder!. with a good doctor and regimen of meds you will feel much better and more in control!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

'm not doctor, but I think you are suffering some form of paranoia!. A regular doctor could help you but you need psychiatric help hon!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Sounds like OCD (obsessive compulsive disorder)!. Go see a psychiatrist or psychiatric nurse practitioner!. They can help you out (probably with meds) and put your mind to rest!. Good luck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Fuoxetine has been known in some people to cause some odd behaviour, most commonly suicidal thoughts!.
Its possible that it could be having a negative affect on you!. I personally had a very bad experience taking Fluoxetine!.
This does not happen to everyone that takes Fluoxetine, some people feel its truly a 'wonder drug' and really helps them to get their life in order, however, i was one of the inlucky ones (there were quite a lot of us in fact!.)
Its only one possibility but its worth checking out!.
Have a look at this thread re: negative side effects, there are some links there that you could check out!.
Good luck, i hope that it works out for you
