My boyfriend has.. mood swings, or depression?!
Question: My boyfriend has!.!. mood swings, or depression!?
my boyfriend is the type that would NEVER go get checked out to discover what it is he suffers from, but I secretly think there is a problem with him!
So!.!. he requires a lot of attention!.!. like going out to movies or going on dates, etc!. If I'm unavailable to do something, he'll either go out with his friends for HOURS or he'll just sleep!.
I hate the fact that he sleeps as much as he does!. I mean, he has a full time job, but it's still annoying because he could help with house chores too!. (I work a full & part time job, so I don't think the house is "womens-work")!.
He has weird patterns of sleep!.!. but this might have to due with his work schedule!. I just can't understand why he's such high maintainence w/ mood swings!. I constantly have to tell him like what to do and follow up on whether he did!.
Also, we have a child together, and it seems like: if I ask him to watch our child, he does!.!. & then he expects something (reward) !.!.but it's his job as a dad

Having a child means being a father!. No rewards should be expected!. If my husband acted like this, I would slap some sense into him!. As far as the sleeping, he could be depressed or maybe when he's not working he likes to be lazy!. My husband went for counseling about a year ago because he would get angry over little things and act out!. The doc said he was under alot of stress!. He works 16 hour days and then comes home to a house full of kids and a stressed out wife!. We started sharing the responsibilities more and he talked to his boss about having Sundays off!. He went from working 7 days a week to 6 days a week!. Sometimes it's only 5 days!. Now he can get the rest he needs and I can get the break I need!. I run a business from home and have to watch the kids!. I don't believe in putting a child in a nursery!. It's alot to take in!. Things worked out!. I have an amazing husband who admits when he's wrong, will help around the house, kisses me everyday, and lets me have my occasional bubble bath while watching the kids!. Try to explain to your man that having a child doesn't mean your life has to end or that he has the right to be lazy!. If you're working more than him, he should be up for the challenge anyway!. You shouldn't even have to ask him!. Do some research on the web about depression!. He may be suffering and not even know it!. Or he could just be an all around grouch!! Goood luck Miss Natalie!.

He is a different kind of person, who doesn't like to be bored!. Sometimes he often finds normal works boring but he does it to carry on with the day!. I think u should examine the things he likes to do and and be a part of it!. But if he realizes the fakeness he might be depressed so b careful!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
