I am taking Celexa. One doctor before this one suggested I was bipolar.?!


Question: I am taking Celexa!. One doctor before this one suggested I was bipolar!.!?
If I am bipolar, is Celexa the right medicine!? What can I do!? I am very confused!. I can't work, concentrate, sleep on a regulaer basis, and I can't hold sown a job!. What do I do!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

If you are indeed Bipolar, then you should NOT be taking an anti-depressant by itself, as it is proven to cause mania for those with Bipolar!. If you need an anti-depressant to combat depression, it MUST be taken with a mood stabilizer, such as Lithium or Depakote, to avoid this problem!.

I would try adding a mood stabilizer to your Celexa and see if that helps!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I was diagnosed with major depression last year in February!.
I've had a few prescription changes and now I'm taking Celexa!.
I guess it's working, but I still get some "down" times!.
I do have fewer side effects, but ever since I started taking antidepressants last year I've had trembling and shaking, especially in my legs!.
If you don't think the Celexa is working tell your doctor about it!.
Maybe you need a change in dosage or a change in your prescription!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
