Are all mental disorders lifelong?!

Depression can be acute!. Unfortunately the rest mentioned are lifelong!. The attention disorders do improve with age!. Anxiety can wax and wane, bipolar gets worse and plateaus about age 70!. If you have a lifelong disorder your coping mechanisms do improve and it can appear that you are handling it better, but symptomatically they get worse for the most part unless its acute depression!. Neurological disorders (the brain) listed above are the result of a chemical imbalance!. This is hard wired and doesn't just go away!. Medication can control the symptoms pretty well!. I have known some bipolars that are without a manic episode for years!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I hope they aren't!.
I'm being treated for depression and anxiety!.
I was off the meds for a while but had to start taking them again!.
I'm stuck with my marriage and my job, at least for a year or two!. I hope the depression goes away once my triggers aren't near!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

No nothing is lifelong!. And thats another problem!. How people feel that their lifelong, so they never get completely cured!. Dont ever settle for less!. Everything is curable!. Don't listen to phony people!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Currently mental disorders cannot be cured!. They either stay (though they can remain relatively or completely asymptomatic with the use of adequate medication) or sometimes just go away (isolated depressive episodes, brief psychotic episode, etc!.)!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
