Many of the SSRI drugs (the class of antidpressants that Zoloft belongs to) cause weight gain!. I took Zoloft and any weight I gained on it was minimal!. However, I took Paxil for a few months and gained 40 pounds! So it just goes to show that different meds affect people in different ways!. Just try exercising a litle more than you usually do and try to avoid salt and other things that cause bloating and it should help!. Hope this helps!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
