Is there a mentel illness for "thinking too much"?!

Question: Is there a mentel illness for "thinking too much"!?
I really do wonder if i think too much!.
It kinda bothers me at times!. I think and wonder about one simple thing that happened in the day for a whole school day, or even maybe a week!. It's distracting, and I also distress myself over stupid little things!.
I don't think it's healty, and niether does my friend!.
So I'm asking if this "thinking too much" is a real problem, or if i'm just a normal person that over thinks things!?
Please give me answers!.
Thanks!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
What you're going through sounds like it might be difficult for you, but not mental illness!. It does sound like you're experiencing some mild anxiety and maybe some obsessive thoughts!.

Try this: While breathing evenly, slowly and deeply, interrupt your thinking by saying to yourself silently:

Breathing in, I'm calm and safe!.
Breathing out, I smile!.
Breathing in, I'm in the present moment!.
Breathing out, I know this is a wonderful moment!.

You can shorten it to:
Calm and safe!.
Smile!.
Present moment!.
Wonderful moment!.

Or, if that's too complicated, practice breathing deeply and evenly while saying to yourself, "Everything is ok!." and try a small smile on your face!.

Good luck! You're ok as you are and you can feel better if you learn to relax and stay present and be kind to yourself!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
