Too Old And Getting Worse?!

Question: Too Old And Getting Worse!?

I have mental illness also among other things!.The best job I found for me was fast food!.The managers all were very supportive of me and my problems!.The only thing for me was being able to keep my job due to time lost due to hospital stays!.I also had a job cleaning houses(being a cleaning maid) I managed to keep that for awhile!.I think the reason was because its a routine for me at home so cleaning was/is easier!.But unfortunately I lost that job too due to a hospital stay!.My hospital stays average 6 to 8 weeks each,so jobs don't last too long(approximately 6mos to 1 yr)
Good Luck,Best Wishes!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

how about applying to supermarkets, care homes, cafes etc!.
NEVER give up, there is bound to be something you can do, and as long as you are honest about your mental health, you will find an employer willing to take you on!.

If you cannot do that kind of work, then how about advertising as a cleaner, and go into peoples homes for a few hours a day and clean for them!?
Just make some flyers, print them out, and put them up in shop windows etc!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Make sure your meds are sorted, and you're stable!. Don't take on more than you can handle!.!.!. and do it with the support of your doctor, and family!. My brother has schizophrenia, and after his meds were all settled, he has a full time job, and copes fine!. Well!.!.!. his boss is great, he has time off when he can't cope!.!.!. and every few weeks we give him a hand cleaning his house!

Now, what you need to do is find something that you would do for free!.!.!. something that you enjoy!. And get someone to pay you for it!!

After I had my son (single mum, just a little different, I know) I tried a few part time jobs!. After 3 months, I hated all of them!. Finally, as I've always been a swimmer, I completed my Austswim course, and became a swimming teacher!. From 9 to 12 weekday mornings, inspiring and educating children!.!.!. teaching them to love the things that I love about the water!. I started one shift a week, and as my son got older, more shifts (the morning shifts fitted childcare and school perfectly)!. 9 years later, I'm employed by the largest swimschool organisation, and am running the morning program, responsible for 20 staff, and over 1,000 lessons per week!!!!!

There are organisations that will help find you a job!. Don't be afraid to accept help! Enrol in TAFE (Technical and Further Education) (or whatever your equivalent is) for further education!. Community colleges, etc routinely run courses to help women return to the workplace!.

If you love gardening, and have a good general knowledge, apply for work at the local nursery or garden store!. If you're an organiser, look for work as a filing clerk!. If you're a people person, look for a retail or hospitality job (ok, I realise that might be a little overwhelming!. Probably something quiet would be more suitable!.) Part time work as a receptionist/clerk at a local small office!.!.!. There are an astonishing amount of jobs out there, and an amazing number of people who will understand your condition, and offer flexible work!.

Find your bliss, and then look to get paid for it!.!.!. cooking, cleaning, gardening, computers, people, kids, swimming!.!.!. and when you're coping with that, look for some courses to improve your knowledge and abilities in that area!.

Good luck with it hon!. You can do it!Www@Answer-Health@Com
