Xanax dosage questions?!
Question: Xanax dosage questions!?
I've been prescribed !.25mgs of Xanax to take as needed(not daily)!. So far I haven't taken any so I am unaware of how it will effect me!. However, my question relates to the dosage amount!. Can I take !.75mgs or 1mg and still be fine!? I am NOT looking to overdose or commit suicide!. The reason I ask is that my sister is getting married soon and I am notorious for having panic attacks when in large groups of people!. I want to make sure I am calm and relaxed throughout the event, and I don't feel like !.25mgs would probably help me too much!. So how will I feel if I take close to 1mg!?
Does anyone have personal experiences as to how Xanax makes them feel!? Does it really help prevent panic!? Anyone use a high dosage like 1-2mgs!? Thanks!Www@Answer-Health@Com

yeah, i've taken 1!.5 mg at a time and boy does it work!. But when you have a tolerance for it (which you don't) it doesn't work as quickly or as effectively!. But, taking 3 or 4 of your !.25mg of xanax will make you feel GREAT!.
BUT i would advise you to try this dosage BEFOREhand so that you can see how you feel!. you don't wanna be zoning out, or too drowsy, or start drooling uncontrollably!. LOL!.

You want to feel calm and not fall asleep!. You could take your normal dose and after 45 minutes, you can take another, but not more!.If you did not take anything yet, !.75mg will make you sleepy and 1mg will knock you out!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I wouldn't take any more than the prescribed dosage!.
I took xanax one time and it paradoxacally increased my restlessness!.

Don't take more than the prescribed dosage!. Your doctor gave you that amount because that is what is best suited for your needs!. Since the dose that you take at your sister's wedding/around the time of the wedding it will probably affect you more profoundly than if you had been taking the medication for a long period of time!.
Why not take a dose and see how it affects you!? If you don't think it is going to help, let your doctor know!. Together you will be able to come up with another plan of action (a higher dose, other stress coping skills or a different medication)!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
