Question: My friend is cutting herself!.!.!.again!?
She's 17 and has been cutting for 3 years!. I'm the only one who knows!. Her friends at school don't know!. I can't tell her parents because she is a friend on myspace!. I helped her stop for a month but yesterday she cut again!. She has tried everything out there!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Telling her parents would depend on what kind of parents they are!. If they would throw her out or start treating her badly because of it, they probably shouldn't find out until later!. But if they would focus on the solution and actually help, then it'd be ok to tell them!.
I used to cut myself, and it's really a tough thing to stop!. But I did!. Emphasize that her body is a unique creation of God, and that she's only got 1 body! She doesn't need to live her life with those scars! Also, whatever she's going through, help her through it!. Hospitals all have a teenage adolescent care place where people can go stay for a while and get treatment!. I went there, and it changed my life!. You might need to do that!. Yes, you can and SHOULD tell her parents!. They need to know what their daughter is up to, and they will be able to get her the help she desperately needs!. She probably has not found the right person to talk to!. There are therapists out there that specialize in self-harm and they can easily be found by calling your local hospital!.

Report her as an "abuse user" and mentioned that this teenager needs help immediately! Then mentioned the reason why!.They will find her right away!.

Try and get ahold of her phone number, or plan to visit sometime!. You should tell somebody!. She could really hert herself!. It might eventually lead to suicide!. Tell her parents!. They will help her!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
