Answers:
Well, yes and no!. A phobia is classified as an irrational fear; one that is marked by avoidance of the feared stimuli and significant interference in the sufferer's life!. If your fear is "irrational" but doesn't cause you any grief, and avoiding it isn't a problem, then it's not a phobia!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Ok in my opinion only, a phobia is when you're thinking/worrying about the situation arising even when you're not currently facing it, and when you can't rationally think of a way to deal with it, even when your not facing it at that moment!.
I think I have a phobia of germs/getting unwell rather than a fear, because Im thinking about it alot, I often feel unwell because Im so sure I am sick I get the symptoms, and my friends have told me they think its a phobia because they say if I wasn't really scared I wouldn't put myself through so much to stay healthy!.
I think thats another thing, if you are damaging your life/friends/family or whatever with your fear, then its a phobia!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
