Could someone explain what I'm going through to me?!


Question: Could someone explain what I'm going through to me!?
I'm under a lot of stress, no doubt, lately I have been having very vivid dreams where my possessions, pets, and things I care about are either injured or destroyed!. I'm actually starting to get sleep deprivation from this nonsense, and I'd like to stop it!. Anyone have any ideas, or things that might help!? Medication actually makes it worse for me, don't know why but it does!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Obviously if you are under stress, you need to do something to reduce it!. Stress and anxiety make our bodies do strange things!. I would suggest taking Melatonin!. You can purchase it at any drugstore or health food store!. If you take every night for a week or so, it will help you regain your sleep pattern!. Once you reach deep sleep (REM) your body will be able to restore itself!. It sounds like you dont fall into a deep sleep!. Also meditation and any kind of deep breathing/relaxation exercises should help!. I know all of this sounds kind of hokie, but I have been managing my anxiety for 20 years using these methods!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Look at what is going on in your life!. What is really causing you stress!? Man, I got an incredible raise working for a horrible controlling boss and while I was happy, I also felt more stress because I know I cannot find this position anywhere close for this pay rate so I know she 'bought' me and that entraps me and brings up all kinds of moral mental issues for me and I too, have had dreams filled with turmoil and unrest!. It seems you feel threatened by something or someone in your life and you need to figure out what it is and rationalize with your subconcious that you've got a plan and you've got it covered!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Get to the root of the problem!. I know it sounds much easier than it is, but something deep down is bothering you!. Meds always make it worse!. You cant take a pill for emotions!? I dont see why people dont see through this gimmic of drugs!. There are natural ways to prevent and cure things, and I dont mean freaky things!. Best of luck to you!Www@Answer-Health@Com

thats has happened to me alot!. what i do is take a day off with my family, get and tell them whats wrong!.!.!.!.

Or it mite be that some very bad is wrong with something in your family and of pets that you dont know about, go get them checked out your dreams mite be a sign!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Are you taking Paxil!? Paxil causes very vivid dreams!. I took it for a short while!. Didn't like the vivid dreams!. Didn't like the Paxil either!Www@Answer-Health@Com

What you're going through!? Nightmares and sleeplessness can be associated with stress, especially if they coincide with each other!.
Well, I do meditative breathing and thinking before I sleep most nights!. You see, I have night terrors!. I don't want to be on any meds, don't need expensive hospital bills!.!.
Here's what I do, and maybe this will help!.!.
When you lay down and close your eyes,
Breath slowly from your abdomen and into your chest cavity, counting to ten as you inhale, and counting down as you exhale!.
Next, as you are getting more relaxed, concentrate on relaxing each body part!. Your scalp down to your toes!. This sounds like a long process, but it takes about 5 minutes!. Very relaxing!.
Then, picture yourself in a place where you are completely loved, and completely content!. Keep the beathing slow, and this will put you into a more relaxed state!. This should help your subconcious go over more positive information during the REM period of sleep!.

As far as taking meds to sleep, I have a recipe!.
You need:
1 jug of apple cider
1 box of chamomile/sleepy time tea
sprinkle of nutmeg and/or ginger
a litltle bit of lemon or honey for taste

heat cider first, then add one or two teabags !. Let steep for about 5 minutes, sprinkle a few things to flavor, and there you have it!. It's all-natural, and if you like apple cider you're in luck!.
You may want to check into valerian root, if you have no heart problems!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
