Many of us go through phases with eating!.!.!.some more extreme than others!. It is when we allow the extreme to become an unhealthy 'norm' or daily activity/habit that it may need to be addressed!. Simply take your health & body's needs into a perspective which you can understand clearly with knowledge! I am NOT a three meal a day person, though never have been!.!.!.BUT realizing my body 'needs' nourishment is how I have learned to at least fulfill the energy health requirements 'any' body requires!. I simply found ways to satisfy my nutrient status/requirements in healthy ways and still not eat three full meals a day! My hubby has always said that I was born in the wrong 'era' I should have come into this world during the day & age of swallow a capsule instead of eat a meal!.!.!.Walaahah~ energy-vitamins-nutrients-!.!.!.etc! What I have done is make sure that in the mornings I consumes something!.!.!.whether it be fruit/bagel/egg/cereal or smoothie! Then during the day I eat small things like veggies/fruit/cheese/sm potato roll with plain chicken or turkey pieces!.!.!.Since I am not big on any meats or bread, never been a sandwhich eater I manage to snack on nutritious things I like!. You need to learn what they are for you! I also drink water with added nutrients ALL day & evenings, never sodas & many juices, even if watered down!. Not being big on sweets either I manage to simply fufill the sweet urge with fruits/juices/veggies etc!.!.!. I will tell you that I am NOT underweight!.!.!.what my body has learned is to adjust to my lack of regular meal habits!.!.!.So what you should know is!.!.!.IF you choose NOT to eat anything for breakfast!.!.!.to begin your day!.!.!.your body will learn to slow the metabolism AND STORE FAT!.!.!.!.Surely you don't want that!!?!? People are misinformed thinking 'not eateing=skinny'!.!.so NOT TRUE!! Think about it!.!.!.such behavior equals skrawny-unhealthy-weak-sickly!.!.!.So!.!.!.YOU need to only be smart!.!.!.eat nutritious things that will fuel your body & maintain good health! It can be easy!.!.!.& work for you IF you put forth the effort to educate yourself!.!.!.Nagging from others & pre-judgement merely encourages resentment & seclusion etc!.!.!.So IF you are concerned!.!.!.why not BE SMART!?! Just develop some good nutritious habits!.!.!.BEFORE your body begins to respond negatively!!? OK!? Try learning about things that are good for you!.!.!.you like and easy for the way you live your life!. Vegetarians do this, BUT they are often criticized & questioned!.!.!.but many are very healthy & well adjusted! So I hope that my words have helped you to at least view your eating habits in a different light!.!.!.!.and possibly encouraged you to begin treating 'you' in a healthy happy fulfilling way! People with eating disorders often come from home with there is an unhealthy obsession with weight and appearance!. Perhaps you come from one of those homes, which means you should start by understanding it might be your parents who have problems that you are a victim of!. If that's the case, they may not be of much help!. They may tell you that you look and eat fine, which is clearly not true from your description!.

At any rate, you do have an eating disorder, even anorexia, which is a mental illness, so you need help!. You need to go to therapy!. If you're in school, talk with a guidance counselor or school nurse!. Take care of this now because it's really serious!. The good news is that unlike some people, you do recognize that you have a problem!. That means that if you go for help, you have a very good chance of winning this battle!. Good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Ok!. It is common to feel unhappy with your self image!. And I know that this fear of getting fat can cause genuine anxiety!. I know someone who is in this position but she took this too far!. She is 23 and is going through the menopause!. Doing this to your body is severly damaging and can make you very ill!. Our bodies were not designed to exist on grapes and apples alone!.

Please speak to your parents about this!. I am not garunteeing they will know exactly what to do but they will be able to support you!. If you dont feel comfortable doing this speak to someone (an adult) you can trust, a teacher, a family member or family friend!.

You will most likey be put in to see a counsellor!. Dont worry this isnt something to say your crazy, Ive been to councellors they can help by giving you exercises to boost your self image and encorage you to eat and help you to get this fear behind you!.

I know you can do this you are brave enough to ask here so you know you can ask for help from the people who care about you!

Best of luck and all best wishes! ^_^Www@Answer-Health@Com

By recognising that this is a problem you've taken the first step to getting over it!. It does sound like you have an eating disorder and you can get over this!. I suggest you talk to your parents - they may be shocked at first if they haven't noticed, or they may be worrying about how to raise the subject with you if they have!. If you can't bring yourself to talk to them - is there another adult that you could confide in!? Or make an appointment to see your GP!? Whoever you talk to they will be sympathetic, and you should feel proud of yourself for taking the first step!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

i have gone through spells (v short) where i am obssessed about what i eat, how much, exercise, calories etcetc
and then other times i realise that why do i do this!? to please me, others or what drives me to feel like this!?
then i realise that we are all individulal, unique and all of this obsession with weight in the media means nothing!.
if it could be to do with perfection or loss in control in other areas of life then maybe talk to someone about how you feel!.
your mum is only your real best friend!.!.talk to her!. it may be hard, but you can do it!.
good luck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
