Question: I have been signed off work for stress and anxiety!? is this ok !? i feel bad at the time!?

Don't feel bad!. But this just goes to show how stressed and anxious you are!. Your doctor wouldn't have signed you off work if he/she didn't think it was necessary!. Take this time to help yourself get better!. Do all you can to reduce your stress and anxiety, so that when you do go back to work you will be fighting fit again!.

I'm not quite sure what the question here is!?
Being signed off is OK, but you need to do something to get better!. Has your doctor referred you for anxiety management or relaxation classes!? Are you able to identify what has caused the stress so that you can have an action plan in place to manage it!. If it's something at work have you reported it to your manager or HR department!.
You need to do these things so that you can return to work, and stay well!.

Your health is the most important thing, everyone suffers stress at some point in life - some worse than others!. I am off with stress at the moment and being signed off was the best thing for me as at the time, I couldnt concentrate and couldnt meet deadlines! That is when I knew I needed help and time to myself to get better!. You need to work out what is causing the stress and work on it, help from the doctors may be beneficial too!. It will take time and wont be a overnight thing, so dont overdo decision making!. I have been off 6 weeks and head back next week!. feeling so much better now and more positive - still have moments but who doesnt't! of course this is ok!. there is no need to feel bad, seek treatment that will enable you to get back to work!.
however, what you are feeling is normal!. going to work gives us a sense of purpose and a structure to our day!. without it we feel inadequate, but you have to rememer you are given this leave for a purpose!.!.to work on you and how to feel better!. hopefully you will be better after talking to loved ones about how you are feeling!.

Take it easy - you are Normal!.!.!.!. there is 9 people in my office off with " Stress" related illnesses!.!.!. I dont blame them!.!.!.a lot of people think its a skive!.!.!.but its a real illness!.!.!.I know - I was off for a few months with it!.!.!.!. the work load and time-tables set these are just totally unworkable!.!.relax!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

its a good job some of us manage and dont take time of when things are bad, the country would stop!.

depends how bad it is stress can really be a terrible thing and if its really bad maybe you should ask your gp for a stress councillor a lot of surgeries have them nowadays!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yes it is fine!. I have just gone back to work myself after being off for 7 months with anxiety and depression!. Your health comes first so dont worry about work, just focus on getting better!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
